Questo è un tour fantastico, perché scoprirai liberamente una delle più belle città antiche che abbiamo nel centro Italia. Lasciarti guidare dal tuo istinto e dalla bellezza del luogo. Naturalmente ci sono alcuni suggerimenti che possiamo darti su come trascorrere il tuo tempo (circa 5 ore incluso il pranzo, fidati che non sia troppo) a Orvieto e la scelta può essere fatta tra alcune attività. L'antica Orvieto è una città pedonale ma ha comunque molto da offrire. Stando su una collina di tufo e dopo essere stati fondati dagli Etruschi, saliremo e sulla strada ventosa incontreremo un'antica "necropoli" etrusca. Dopo un panorama mozzafiato, il pozzo di St. Patrick, unico lavoro di ingegneria, è qualcosa che ti chiede la capacità di andare su e giù e fare 500 passi. Puoi anche andare più in basso che puoi / vuoi ammirarlo. Una parte della fortezza distrutta si erge su un altro panorama. Quindi raggiungeremo la città medievale, dove sotterranei, un Duomo, due musei, graziosi vicoli, negozi, cantina e ristoranti

Simbolo della città stessa, il Duomo è uno dei più belli d'Italia. Il Duomo è un magnifico edificio che riunisce diversi stili architettonici. In particolare possiamo definire un bell'esempio e un equilibrio di stili gotici e romanici. L'intento era quello di creare una grande cattedrale per la città, in sostituzione di due chiese in decomposizione che esistevano lì prima.
Scopri questa affascinante città medievale camminando lungo i suoi vicoli, respirando l'aria di questo gioiello, ricco di arte, storia. Dai anche il tempo di conoscere l'artigianato locale. Ci sono molti negozi di buona qualità qui che sicuramente ti tenteranno. E se ti piace il vino, concediti un po 'di tempo per assaggiare l'Orvieto in una cantina o in una "Trattoria" locale che possiamo consigliarti.
Una visita guidata alla metropolitana di Orvieto è un'esperienza emozionante per conoscere la città dal suo cuore ripercorrendo la storia e la vita quotidiana delle epoche passate. Il percorso attraversa il cuore delle cavità dove sono visibili tracce di antichità etrusche e medievali.

Juri was a great driver and guide. We were fast friend be the end of the day. We also toured a wonderful local Vinyard that had organic wine. We had a tasting and light lunch. Highly recommend.
our tour guide juri was fabulous escort to orvieto which is a fabulous destination not far from Rome. The sites are so interesting and we also had an amazing lunch in Orvieto. Thank you Juri!!
We scheduled a full day car and tour of Orvieto in English. I verified this multiple times when scheduling. The driver was polite but had limited English. His words he had only “scholastic English”. He also made it clear he was “driver only” and had not been to Orvieto for 20 years. We did have a wonderful time in Orvieto but we were mislead by Viator to believe our driver spoke English and would act as a tour guide.
I' m so sorry John you didn' t have the best experience with my company. The driver I sent that time was not the best as far as english and I really apologize I could not be your driver that day. Driver in all my packges is not a guide. What drivers can do is just to give a general introduction to the place and a few suggestion. That's why is called "free tour ". Anyway I am really sorry about that and I' ll put more attention in the future on choosing the best driver available. Thank you so much
Yuri was great! Clean, comfortable car. He is super friendly, with good English. He had a plan for the day that included visiting La Covita di Bagnoregio, a winery and Orvieto. But, as with all plans things happen. A road closure made it impossible to get to the winery without disrupting the timing of the rest of the day. He tried to make changes in the itinerary but couldn’t. So after Orvieto we returned to Rome a little early and he took us on a bit of a tour to areas in the city we hadn’t been to. He felt bad and wanted to make it up to us. A good day and we recommend Yuri. He also set us up with a 3 hour “get to know Rome” tour that included the catacombs (something we wouldn’t have done on our own) on the first day we got to Rome. That was good because we were tired from the overnight flight but could still sightsee with much effort.
Juri was so much fun and such a great driver. He really knew the countryside in the history of Rome and Italy and was very enjoyable to hang out with for the day. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun excursion and even just a ride from the airport to Rome. We feel like we quickly became friends. He speaks excellent English.
