Very good tour. Booked with our hotel Kottawatta Village. Was picked up at our hotel at 5:30am for the half day (6hours). saw so many different animals and our driver Shante was able to tell us all about them etc. Had a great time!!
Great Safari at Udawalawe! Our driver and guide, Shanter was very good, we managed to arrive early and see crocodiles, elephants, deers, bulls, and many birds. Would definitely recommend!
Shanter is a great driver and guide and ensured a really smooth experience He helped us beat the crowds whenever possible It’s my first safari and I am very happy with the experience
Janith was a super guide. He also knows the animals and plants beyond the elephants! These were, of course, the absolute highlight and impressive. Great tour !!! (half day, which was perfectly sufficient for us)
We were picked up on time at 5:30 AM from the Kottawatta Village and drove into the national park in a safari jeep. And there we saw elephants, both adults and babies, crocodiles, buffalo, deer, lizards, and many different types of birds. Although we only had one pair of binoculars as a family of five, we were able to take turns. Overall, our tour lasted almost 7 hours and we had a very nice driver/guide named Dilshan who showed us all the animals, told us a little bit about each animal every time, and even drove an extra large loop back to the lake so that we could see an elephant family again :) I would say overall that the safari trip, especially the entrance fee to the national park, is definitely expensive and it is not a cheap affair for a family of five, but it is worth it, and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Fantastic guide, he drove us with the Jeep to incredible places. Observing nature and its wildlife in full freedom is an unforgettable experience. Thank you snaij
Dilshan was our driver for the whole day. He was very informative about everything we asked and got us to and from the safari safely. Highly recommend Dilshan
Great atmosphere to see the sun rising with the park and the mountains in the background. Lots of different animals Single elephants, waterbuffalos, alligators, wild boars, deer, Chamäleon. There were rarely jeeps and most of the time we were the only jeep. That was better than with hundreds of jeep side by side. Thanks to our driver Santa.
Janith was a great guide with eagle eyes. We saw elephants, deer, buffalo, crocodiles, mongooses, monkeys, a chameleon, eagles, and many other birds. Good explanations.
We had an amazing tour with our guide and new friend Santha. He showed us the most beautifull places of the park and saw lots of elephant. Also he helped us take pictures.
