Si consiglia vivamente di iniziare alle 5 del mattino per le migliori viste ed esperienze. Partendo dal tuo hotel o stazione ferroviaria o ovunque all'interno della nostra area di prelievo, per 2 o 3 ore di viaggio attraverso aree dense, mercati tradizionali e strade tortuose di montagna. Una volta arrivati, vedremo il panorama delle cascate da sopra. Fate una passeggiata attraverso mille gradini e godetevi il tumpak sewu dal fondo. Scatta tonnellate di foto e prosegui per Telaga Biru per un tuffo. Sali fino alla bellissima Goa Tetes, un nascondiglio che pochi conoscono e torna al parcheggio. L'acqua minerale in bottiglia è disponibile a bordo gratuitamente, e un pit stop per il cocco alla fine del viaggio. I pasti non sono forniti, ma si può chiedere di fermarsi e provare i cibi locali di Malang sulla via del ritorno in hotel. Itinerario
Andremo dal centro di Malang attraverso una zona rurale con la vista del Monte Semeru, la montagna più alta di Giava che è 3.676 m slm. Il mercato tradizionale e la folla che fa attività mattutine sono la vista lungo la strada tortuosa per circa 2 ore solo andata.
Prepara il costume da bagno e le scarpe da ginnastica per un viaggio avventuroso alla cascata più grande di Giava. Dopo l'arrivo vedremo il panorama della cascata dall'alto. Fai una passeggiata lungo mille gradini e goditi il tumpak sewu dal basso. Scatta tantissime foto e prosegui verso Telaga Biru per un tuffo. Sali fino alla bellissima Goa Tetes e torna al parcheggio. Avrai bisogno di un cuore forte e di un paio di ginocchia sane per le 3 o 4 ore di esplorazione. Non raccomandato per anziani o bambini sotto i 10 anni. Ci sono alcune bancarelle che vendono frutta e snack nella zona.
Sali su alcune piccole cascate ed entra in alcune grotte
Faremo lo stesso percorso per tornare a Malang in orari simili e viste pomeridiane diverse. Vai a pranzo in una cucina locale e fermati al negozio di articoli da regalo per un chicco di caffè locale e uno spuntino (su richiesta).

Tumpak Sewu is the best waterfall I have ever seen and it was a great morning spent exploring the waterfall, canyon, and the Tetes waterfall and caves. Our guide was super and took amazing photos for us.

Fani was an amazing guide. He tailored the trip to my interests and abilities, offering many options for getting close to the waterfalls and exploring caves. He took lots of photos and videos along the way. I was glad I wore trail running shoes and not sandals because there was lots of walking through water on rocks. Fani was careful to point out places that were more slippery, and there were never any issues. Because we arrived early and didn't follow the same route as other guides, we had most places to ourselves.

The pickup worked very well. On site, guide Calvin accompanied us throughout the tour to the waterfall, caves, etc. We walked among rocks, watercourses, and much more, and mastered many steps, but this was worth it. A really great and very wet experience, we had a lot of fun doing it. This resulted in super beautiful photos that Calvin took. Finally we received a coconut :)

Wow HIGHLIGHT of my 3 week trip to Indonesia! ABSOLUTELY STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL WATERFALLS! Bima was a great driver and really helpful and courteous. He drove me there and back to and from Surabaya. Rio was a fantastic guide, he really took wonderful pictures and knew exactly the safest path around the waterfalls!

Perfect trip from Malang to Tumpak Sewu. Clean and comfortable car, and the views at Tumpak were amazing. The guide really made the trip: very friendly and knowledgeable on the wildlife, Indonesian history & culture, and the best spots to get good photos. I used the same company and guide to take a Bromo sunrise trip, which was also awesome. Highly recommended for solo female travellers!

Very well organized and satisfying. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is one of Indonesia’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Most visitors only visit its circular waterfall, although there are many spots to visit. Fortunately, Mas Fani will take you to visit many hidden gems, so be prepared to get wet, because he will take you to a more challenging route. I took a day trip from Malang. I was picked up at 5.10 am, arrived at 7.00 am, then had a 6-hour trip. During the trip, I also got a chance to try tropical fruits under the falls and Indonesia’s favorite food, “gorengan”. Before returning to the hotel, I was served a super yummy noodles, anyway you can choose any kind of food you like. Your trip will be well documented, as well as both photos and videos. Very pleasant excursion with our private driver and our guide waiting for us directly on site! The waterfall was impressive and our guide did everything to make this experience lively and dynamic, as well as being a quality photographer ahah! We recommend ++++ you should plan: swimsuit and spare clothes absolutely and even water shoes ideally!
