La regione dell'Everest è già famosa nel mondo con le viste panoramiche sulle montagne e la cultura unica. Tra i vari sentieri della regione, l'Everest Trek con Gokyo Ri offre una straordinaria prospettiva della regione di Khumbu. Il trekking si dirige verso i bellissimi laghi Gokyo attraverso i villaggi Sherpa come Namche e Machhermo. Il viaggio dura 13 giorni per essere completato e inizia a Kathmandu. In primo luogo, vai a Lukla su un volo e inizi a camminare. Il sentiero di trekking si dirige a nord verso Phakding ed entra nel Parco Nazionale Sagarmatha. Ti dirigi verso Namche Bazaar e prosegui per Phungi Thanga. Il percorso si discosta dal classico percorso dell'Everest Base Camp e prosegue verso nord fino al villaggio di Gokyo. Quindi, trascorri una giornata al villaggio e fai un'escursione fino alla cima del Gokyo Ri (5360 m). Qui, puoi goderti la vista delle montagne come Cho Oyu (8201 m), il monte. Everest (8848 m) e altre cime nella gamma Mahalangur. Allo stesso modo, puoi anche esplorare i laghi Gokyo e il ghiacciaio di Ngozumpa.

This was the second time we came to Nepal with Himalayan Adventure and both times it was an amazing experience. We’ve done Mardi Himal and this time the Everest Base Camp trek. Our guide Prakesh was excellent throughout the trip and he went above and beyond to make sure we are okay and enjoying the trip. I fell sick early on and we had to schedule an additional day of rest but he managed to re-organise the rest of the trip so very thankful for that. The trek itself is absolutely stunning! Beautiful views and such a unique experience to be in Nepal and surrounded by these mountains. Nepalese people are truly the kindest people I’ve ever met and I hope to return there again in the future. Thank you to Prakesh and Bhagwat for the best holiday I ever had! Can’t wait to come back. 😊
