Our 2-day, 1-night trek was absolutely amazing! The organization was perfect from start to finish. We were a group of four with two fantastic guides, and we shared unforgettable moments together. We were lucky enough to see many orangutans, including a huge dominant male, as well as other wildlife such as macaques. Every encounter felt truly magical. Our guides were incredible—funny, kind, knowledgeable, and always looking after us. The food was delicious, and spending the night in the jungle was an unforgettable experience in itself. I honestly have nothing negative to say. I 100% recommend Sumatra Stone Stories to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable jungle adventure. A huge thank you to the whole team!
The 3 day jungle trek was an absolutely amazing experience and the best way to end my trip. Jungle Dee was a fantastic guide, he made the tour fun and interactive and he had so much knowledge about all of the wildlife, not just the orangutans, so it was very interesting and any questions we had about what we were seeing were answered. Jungle Dee and the other guide were so friendly and as there was only 3 of us doing the trek it was lovely to get to know them through their stories and hear more about Indonesia. To top it off, Dee gifted us all an orangutan pendant that he had hand carved from stone over the 3 days. A magical experience I would recommend to everyone!
