My wife and I completed the Everest Base Camp trek on march 2025 with Hiking Himalayas Trek. From start to finish, Vishma Nepal organised the trip flawlessly and ensured everything ran smooth. Our guide Hari was outstanding- knowledgeable, professional, calm and supportive throughout the tough two week trek. He took us to several scenic detours and less travelled routes based on his deep knowledge. This made the trek even more enjoyable. Reaching the base camp was a surreal experience and emotional moment for us after such a long time preparing and enduring the hardships. Our group joined Hiking Himalayas for the Everest Base Camp trek, and it was an outstanding experience. Our guide was highly experienced, professional, and incredibly observant. He took excellent care of our physical and mental well-being throughout the journey, even down to our food preferences. He regularly checked our oxygen levels to ensure we were acclimatizing properly and staying safe at high altitudes. Before reaching base camp, he constantly motivated and supported us, reminding us when to slow down and rest. He also carefully checked all our gear before departure to ensure we were fully prepared. His deep knowledge of the route and the background stories at each stop made the trek even more meaningful. He also helped us get the best deals in town for food and WiFi, which was a nice bonus! In addition, the team’s arrangements while we were in Nepal were seamless. They even customized parts of the tour based on our requests and personal preferences. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a professional team that truly cares and offers great value!

We had a fantastic trek with Kapil and Namo as our guides. They were knowledgeable, friendly and became part of our family. Our porters Ram and Mongol were also excellent. From our initial discussions with Vishma, to our welcome from Kapil at Kathmandu airport and then Vishma meeting me at the hospital when my son and I were evacuated from the mountain.. we were looked after like family and every member of Hiking Himalayas went above and beyond for us. For those travelling with children.. we took our 13, 11 and 9 year olds.. we were a little naive to altitude sickness and in hindsight, I feel I should have been a lot more aware of the subtle signs and we would have ascended even slower, had I been more alert to them. Our guides were great but children are not as aware of how they are feeling and so it is imperative that those that know them best, are monitoring them.
