I have used Viator in the past for transportation from the airport in various Mexican cities to our hotel, but GrayLine in Puerto Vallarta said i did not pay enough for this very same travel for my family even though I had called Viator prior to the purchase to confirm it was right. I was forced to pay extra for my transportation in cash on the spot or find another way to get to the hotel. We also waited approximately 20 minutes outside the airport in Puerto Vallarta upon arrival before a GrayLine representative finally came to get us the prepaid van. This is a cattle like operation with a line of people waiting at the airport. The service was normal when we left and we did get the personal van that we had paid for. I gave this a 3 star because of this, but the travel from the airport is not as described or expected

They charged me more and took a very long time to process and get van - only took cash It was hard to find driver

Signage for Gray was a little hard to find. Very professional. Newer and clean vehicle. Communicated well.

The exit area where all the taxis converge at the Puerto Vallarta airport is extremely crowded and poorly run. We reserved and prepaid a private van and driver for 3:00. We actually got in the van at 4:40. They seemed very disorganized. Once we were actually in the van it was a nice van, the driver was extremely friendly, and the ride was good.

If you are looking to pay three times the rate of a taxi only to be walked to the taxi line, Grey Line is the company for you. We were supposed to have a private van, but instead the representative walked us to the taxi line and put us in a taxi. We could have done that ourselves for a fraction of the cost. Complete ripoff — do NOT use this company.

We purchased a private round trip ride. The pick up experience was good. They were easy to find, and we only had to wait about 20 minutes for our ride. Our driver was accommodating and stopped at a liquor store for us so we could buy some drinks. The pick up, however, was extremely disappointing. I called them 48 hours in advance as instructed to confirm our pick up and was told initially that they could not pick us up because they did not have a van available for us. I pressed harder and asked how they could not have a van available when I had booked this month in advance. I was then told that they did have a van available however, they did not want to pick us up because of the hotel we were staying at, and they claimed to have a difficult time picking up people there. I asked them then why they accepted our reservation when they saw right off the bat where we were staying. She tried to give me the excuse that we booked through a third-party. I told her it didn’t matter if we booked through a third-party they should still see where we are located and should have been able to contact me or cancel the reservation. So it was very disappointing. That two days before we were leaving. We were scrambling and trying to find transportation. I was told that they would either meet us at the airport and pay for our taxi or I could request a refund through the app. I requested the refund and still have not heard back. Tried to call them to let them know when we are heading to the airport as instructed and never could get anybody on the phone, as of right now, we have paid double
I’m very disappointed that the service I paid for, I didn’t receive. I requested for the van and the Grey company didn’t deliver what was paid for.
I booked this transportation about a month or so before our trip. I asked several times about the price I was being charged. When I get to PV and find the people to speak with they said. O they charged you the wrong price you need to pay $40 more in cash! Will never use this service again.
Very friendly service. Driver was excellent and got us safely to our hotel. We were a last minute booking and arrived very late due to delayed flight and they were there ready and waiting. Would highly recommend.
