This was a great option for traveling from Vienna to Salzburg! We enjoyed our local guide and our experience at Mauthausen was impactful for all of us. We learned so much and were grateful for a better understanding of what was suffered there. The museum and monuments are very well done.

We had an excellent driver, Marek, who was very good at English and was very engaging as we chatted along the way. Our visit to Mautheisen was very moving and we had ample time to do the self-guided tour. We would suggest that the driver be Austrian or very knowledgeable about Austria so you could learn about the country along the way.
