It was a horrible experience. My transportation was a no show and then refused to give me a refund. His stated reason was he was there and we were not. We knew we may have a problem when the number he provided was not a working number. Why wouldn't we be there when we paid for transportation? We canceled our transportation for pick up from the hotel to the airport. Not giving them the opportunity to leave us stranded twice. Thanks to good taxi service we made it to the hotel after waiting an hour and a half and the operator never responded to emails that corporate sent but responded to refund request with a denial. Never again!!
Our driver was exceptional!! I left my reading glasses and he went out of his way to bring them to my hotel .. Top notch!
Beware of booking a Viator Transfer from the Athen’s airport into the city. Do not use Beyond Tourz. I booked a car for 4 people and luggage at a cost of $180. When our traveling companion’s flight from the US was cancelled, I notified Viator that we would only have 2 people and asked if a partial refund was available. Initially Beyond Tourz said “let me look at that.” When we arrived at the airport, a small car, that could barely hold our 2 suitcases and carryon bags picked us up. In the backseat, a bedspread covered the seat and was tucked under the cushions. We could not get to the seat belts resulting in an unsafe ride. I notified Viator regarding the issue and once again requested for a partial refund - especially since Beyond Tourz downsized the car for just 2 people and luggage. After several attempts, I have been told that I did not notify prior to the 24 hour policy. So, why did Beyond Tourz downsize the car? The customer service since the incident has been pathetic from both Viator and Beyond Tourz. As I said - beware!
As we greatly appreciate your business, believe me if you were entitled to a refund you would have been refunded by viator even if we refused to honor the refund. We both are governed by the viator policy and they are in control to protect travelers before partners. Again, thank you so much for your business and sorry to hear about the bad experience, we will do our best to avoid this in the all our upcoming trips.
Tour operator was very responsive and diligent in our communications. He made sure that we had all the pertinent details for our transfer. Geogious, our driver was delightful, helpful and engaging. We would highly recommend this company and will use again in the future.
