Never book with this company. It is a ripoff. I called numerous times phone numbers to be picked up from Rio Port. No one came or called me. Finally I got me a private Taxi to my destination.
We waited for 45 minutes for our ride. And it was not the driver’s fault. As soon as we disembarked, in the rain, I noticed a car parked across the street, window down, female driver. As other passengers were greeted by their drivers we were one of only two couples left waiting. Finally, the dispatcher arrived with an arrival card with four individual bookings. Our name was first on the list and he guided us to that driver who had been patiently waiting for us. Too bad she didn’t have a sign board, it would have saved her and us a lot of time. Her driving skills amazed us,,,,I could not drive in this city weaving in and out. Fellow passengers left 30 minutes ahead of us and we were at the hotel same time. She seemed to know all the shortcuts.
Don't expect a meet and greet service. No way of getting hold of the driver. We ended up catching a taxi.
Great value transfer. Fast & cheaper than local ones at cruise port. Good communication prior to arrival
The area around the pier is rather congested so the cars have nowhere to wait. The company representative met us at the pier and guided us to the car, helped with the luggage. The driver was friendly, spoke a little English ( I do not speak ant Portuguese), but she was cautious and took us to the hotel very comfortable.
On time and efficient. Special mention: able to get hold of me a message while I was on a cruise without cell connection with provider, giving me the confident that someone will pick me up at the cruise port.
I don't recommend this service. They were not organized and we waited in the rain for 55 minutes after the scheduled arrival time. Their excuse was that is was raining and traffic was bad. hello? traffic is always bad in Rio. If you are disembarking from the cruise ship, I recommend you take Uber - they are inexpensive, much more responsive. All those leaving the ship were reliably picked up by Uber. We were among the last people to leave. And to add to that - it was at an astronomical price for Rio! Now we know.
