Our trip from Aswan to Luxor by car was just a little over 3 hours. It a was a safe journey with a few police stops along the way. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone sho is on the fence. There is nothing to worry about. Our driver took the fast route and he spoke English. However he did not ask us if we need to use the washroom or need water on our way, although he stopped for a smoke and we had to wait 5 minutes. All is all it was a nice drive.

It says it's a private pick-up and drop-off, but other groups were on board. Eventually, the pair changed cars by another arrangement, but left an hour later than originally planned. Furthermore, the driver did not know the location of the Luxor hotel, so he arrived lost for about an hour, guided by Google Maps. The purpose of signing up for this tour was to be private and save time, but neither was achieved. We recommend that you make arrangements locally.

After sending a screenshot and live link of my location the transport still turned up at the wrong place. I repeated this and after several messages and a conversation via a tour guide, the van driver arrived an hour late. We had already checked out of our boat and together with all of our luggage were left stood at the side of the road in the sun. Aside from that, the van was clean and we were able to stop for the bathroom and to buy water (although we were promised complimentary water on the booking).

3 hr drive with one break in the middle for a free bathroom. Great driver, quiet but attentive. I recommend.

It was a journey that took about three hours to reach Luxor. As soon as he went, he was told he would get him water or coffee, and he got water. After that, after about two hours of running, there was a rest area, so they stopped by and took a restroom break. Then when you get there you pay 200 Egyptian pounds for the tip. Basically, I had no problem, but they told me that they would prefer the six-hour road or the three-hour road, and they told me that the three-hour road would be better, and that the company would pay for the high-speed fare, but in the end they asked me for more tips because I had come three hours.

The driver was punctual and drove safely. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service provided. The only point for improvement concerns the end location of the transfer. As the tour title is “From Aswan to Luxor,” I understood that the service would end at a client-designated location within Luxor. I had specified Karnak Temple in advance and also informed the driver again during the trip. However, upon arrival in Luxor, the driver seemed uncertain and stated that the service ended upon reaching Luxor. (After having some negotiation, he took me to the designated location.) This may have been a communication misunderstanding. Given the driver’s excellent driving skills and punctuality, the service would be even better if the driver could accommodate the client’s designated destination within Luxor.

I can’t recommend Emo Tours Egypt. We booked several transfers and tours with them and had trouble with each one. First, our transfer from the airport dropped us off 1 km from our hotel and told us to walk because the road was close. We later learned this wasn’t true but driver didn’t want to go down the dirt road. Other taxis picked us up. When we contacted Emo they said they would reply back but never did. On the ligh show we asked multiple times if the tour was in English as we hear it might be in French. They said they checked and it was an English night…untrue, and they wouldn’t offer a discount. Third, out pickup to Luxor was 40 min late, we were told to take a Tuk-tuk to a location from a picture sent. They wouldn’t respond to WhatsApp, I called, and they just take it will take time. Driver was going 190km/hr and falling asleep at the wheel. When we arrived late he wanted me to review him and hassled me for a tip and review.
