Trasferimento in traghetto dal molo di Krabi Klong Jilad a Phi Phi Tonsai

We had booked rooms at a resort on Laem Tong Beach (Phi Phi Don) and while the connectivity by ferry takes you from Klong Jilad Pier (Krabi) to Tonsai Pier (Phi Phi Don), going further to Laem Tong Beach requires you to either take a speedboat or a long tail boat. We drove straight from Phuket to Klong Jilad Pier (Krabi) and parked our rental car at the pier parking for 3 nights. It is safe and is a large parking. The parking was free for the complete duration. We then bought ferry tickets from 'Andaman Wavemaster' for Krabi to Tonsai Pier (Phi Phi Don), and they further booked us by their own speedboat ahead to Laem Tong Beach. The total cost was THB 750 per adult. They coordinate the shift from ferry to speedboat at Tonsai Pier (Phi Phi). Please do check the ferry schedule online before reaching the pier as the ferry is not regular and leave at specific times.

Very bad experience and if I judge the opinions, which I should have consulted before, we are not the first and unfortunately not the last. The supposed express transfer from one hour to 1h30. It took 45 minutes to leave Koh Phi Phi because we picked up other travellers from their hotel when we had woken up early to leave ours. Then we piled into the shuttle. One elderly lady sitting on a suitcase for lack of space, another on the cooler of the crew (they even had her get up to have THEIR drink...class), another lady sitting on the floor and a couple in front in full sun. In short, a shame to transport people like cattle!!!

Smooth ride on a day with rough seas. The waiting area was air conditioned, as was the boat. Check-in was easy as well. The boarding ramps are a bit steep if you have any mobility challenges.

“Speed Boat” was over 1 hour delayed due to technical reasons. We believed that they waited to have enough people to make the ride profitable because with us (punctual) were only two other couples. The rest arrived within the waiting time. We were supposed to arrive at tonsai pier, however the so called speed boat made several other stops to drop passengers of (on stop we did twice because the incompetent staff forgot someone). We finally arrived at tonsai with almost two hour delay. Having payed 1000baht per person for a quick transfer this is a bad joke! Horrible company never again!

Boat was spacious and in time. Though the air con was only working in the middle of cabin. No Point to sit at front its hot snd the windows are high. Upper deck you will need sunscreen

Went from Ao Nang (Krabi pier) to Koh Phi Phi. The boat we took was well organised, and the crossing was smooth with no hiccups whatsoever. Our bags were stacked gently and there was a small shop on board with some snacks at good prices. Would recommend!!
