This was advertised as a black mercedes van service with chauffeur and it was a taxi-van complete with meter and taxi signage as well as a musty smell. Not at all what we were led to believe we paid for - which was an upgraded transfer service. Beware false advertising. However, they did show up on time. If you are looking for a basic transfer service, then this would work but if you are wanting something more upscale - look elsewhere.

In some cases, especially for departures, we use official Barcelona taxis that are fully licensed and compliant with all legal and insurance requirements. These vehicles are equipped for professional transfers, even though they carry the standard taxi signage and meter as required by city regulations. We understand that you were expecting a more traditional "chauffeur-style" appearance, and we apologize for any confusion caused. The driver was excellenton time and very helpful. We needed a car with extra space for our luggage and to be to schedule the services early enough. Very good service
Pickup was on time as scheduled. Vehicle was clean and in good condition. Bit pricey but reliability is important.

I booked this transfer thinking - based on the picture - this would be another nice Meercedes or other model van to take us from our hotel in Diagonal Mar to the airport. We had a lot of luggage and my wife has some minot mobility issues and we preferred the additional space provided by a larger vehicle compared to a taxi. We were very disappointed when our pickup arrived and it was just a standard orange-and-black Barcelona taxi (a Toyota Prius), in which our luggage just barely fit and my wife was very uncomfortable. If I had known this would be the case I would have just used one of the dozen or so taxis that were sitting outside the hotel waiting on a fare. I paid a premium price for this service and could have gotten the same thing just by getting in a taxi. I would not use Flip Transfers again if this is what they provide.
