Driver was excellent so this review has nothing to do with him. First time in Italy so unsure about the availability of transportation, so thought I would pre arrange travel to and from the cruise port. Paid literally double than what I could have gotten an UBER or similar from the hotel and port. Granted I agreed to the price when booking, but again very disappointed that I was be charged this much more via Viator. This cost me an extra 300 dollars each way which I was not too happy with. FYI for future travelllers and I am hoping Viator will acknowledge this point with me.

However, your comments relate primarily to Viator's pricing rather than the service we delivered as the local provider. In addition, we believe it is important to distinguish between different types of transportation services. A taxi or rideshare such as Uber offers a different experience from a pre-booked private transfer with a professional English-speaking driver, a premium vehicle, scheduled pickup, and personalized service. These are different products with different levels of service and pricing, much like comparing a bed and breakfast with a five-star hotel. IWe appreciate your feedback and are pleased that the transfer itself and your driver met your expectations.
Fantastic service! We used them from the FCO airport to our Rome area BnB, and then from the Rome city area BnB to the cruise port. As indicated in my previous post, this is the company you will want to use. These folks are responsive with their messages, attentive, courteous, and overall true professionals. I knew they were different when we walked out of the airport secure area to the limo area and our driver was using an iPad to display our names and was dressed in a suit and tie. What a professional operation! Worth every penny! These guys, from dispatch to continued realtime communications (even on the day of travel) are a level above the rest. Will continue to use them when in Rome and plan to pass the word to friends and family that might need a car service. They took away all the stress of getting from point A to point B and all parts in between. Thank you again RLT….. (Claudiu, Vasile and Stefanie) you all are a class act!

Mr. George, the driver is very friendly and helpful. He reached the pickup point well in advance holding a sign showing our name to pick us up and drove us to the designated location with smooth drive. His service is highly professional and effective.

My husband and I enjoyed our ride from the Rome cruise port to the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel. Alex was our driver and was able to pick us up earlier than expected which was great for us. He was an excellent driver and we enjoyed talking with him about travel and he had many recommendations for our future travels as well! We also had a nice ride with Welcome Pickups at the beginning of our trip from the airport to our hotel in Rome.

I trust these guys 100% with transportation needs. Driver is professional, on time , helpful and very courteous. The van is big, AC, very clear, large for all the family and 8 pieces of luggage.
