The park is beautiful, but does not have the slightest infrastructure for tourism. On the day all trade closed. We got dehydrated and had no place to buy anything to drink. During the 5km there was no park staff. My friend slipped and injured the pen and had to continue the route without any help. I do not recommend the tour for someone with some physical difficulty.
We had a fabulous time, Sanja was an amazing guide!! Would definitely recommend. Beautiful sites!! Wonderful time.
First - know that this is a LONG day, with a lot of time spent on a bus or in a van. That being said - we had to get from Zagreb to Split somehow, and this was the PERFECT way to do it! Plitvice National Park is NOT to be missed, and unfortunately it just takes some time to get to! Hubby and I were picked up (with all of our luggage) on time with a few other folks making the same trek. We were driven in a very comfortable van to Plitvice, stopping on the way to take in some beautiful waterfalls and scenery. Once in Plitvice (about 1.5 hours later), we met up with a larger group/bus and our driver kindly transferred our luggage to the bus, while we joined the larger group to begin our tour through the lakes. This was absolutely breathtaking, and also - quite a workout! Be prepared for plenty of walking, stairs, incline, decline - all of it! Highly recommend sneakers or hiking shoes. I personally couldn’t have done this in flip-flops. You’ll have time to rest, eat, explore, etc…before hopping on the bus down to Split (about 2.5 - 3 hours). The bus was also plenty roomy - and I’d say 95% of folks slept the whole way down. Overall, this was an EXCELLENT tour - but i think it would have been disappointing to do this round trip from Split. Just my opinion!
It's been a great day. The guides, Mia and Sanja were very attentive, they were watching everyone including some people who had some difficulty walking well in the park. A spectacular experience.
Dear Guests, Thank you for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear you had such a great day and that Mia and Sanja took excellent care of everyone throughout the park. We truly appreciate your kind words. Safe travels, Gray Line
It was very convenient trip that we could stop at Plitvice on the way to Split. I really enjoyed. Very beautiful.

Mia was great, very informative, waited for the slowpokes (me after falling in Rastoke). She continued to check and see how I was doing at different stops. My only recommendation would be for the first driver (from Zagreb) to specifically mention grabbing our snacks and bringing them on the adventure at the lakes.
My guides, mia and sanja, put me in the back and forth, so I was able to wander around I could travel between cities and leave my luggage on the bus, so I could go sightseeing light
This was a very efficient way to see Plitvice National Park AND travel from Zagreb to Split all-in-one! Sanja was our guide, she was very knowledgeable and friendly, which made for a wonderful adventure! Be sure to check the weather forecast, wear comfortable shoes and proper clothing as there is a lot of walking and climbing stairs. It was good exercise!
I loved the tour and explanation with Mia and Sanja, they are excellent people, guides, empathetic supet and kind to us. We love them! Thank you for making this a beautiful experience and for your kindness.
This is the perfect way to see Plitvice National Park, and move from Zagreb to Split. We had just enough time to explore the part of the park that was open (there was a snowstorm last weekend!) and then decide if I wanted to go back to see more of the park. I saw enough so I will explore another park next weekend. The bus was comfortable and quiet. Easy pick up and drop off
