Itinerario

Amazing tour of lake Morraine Tobby was wonderful guide with experience made it so much fun and adventurous A very clean van with a special treat
This was a great experience! Our guide Toby was super nice and knowledgeable! Pick up was easy at the Banff train station. It was about a 90 min drive up to the lake via Bow valley parkway (the old highway up) where we stopped at a beautiful curve with a train and mountains in the background. We saw two black bears and an Elk on the road! Once we got to the lake we walked around the lake a bit. It was so serene and quiet. We then made our way up the huge rock pile by the lake to stare gaze, there are stairs so it was easy to get up. We had time to explore the area a bit before we settled in. We were provided chairs, blankets and a hot drink! It was overcast so not much of a sunset and saw few stars but it was still phenomenal. It did get pretty cold but not unmanageable. Wear layers!! Hat/gloves etc. We brought an extra blanket and they do provide hand warmers. We got back to the train station at 1:50 am so it was a long night. But it was such a great way to experience Moraine Lake
We had an absolute blast on this stargazing tour! Our guide, Abdul, was incredible. Not only was he knowledgeable about the animal life and landscape but also about the night sky—pointing out constellations and sharing fascinating insight. He was also exceptionally courteous and helpful throughout the entire evening. He made sure everyone was comfortable and took the time to answer all of our questions. It was a truly magical experience and a major highlight for us. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be recommending Abdul and this tour to all of our friends and family!
This was an amazing experience! My tour guide Sam was a great host, always taking care of us, having fun conversations and making sure we were always comfortable. Though we didn’t manage to see many stars (not in anyone’s control haha) we saw an amazing double rainbow on the way there and a nice sunset. The service is amazing, with chairs, blankets and a hot drink provided. A very cozy and worthwhile experience! My heartfelt gratitude to Sam as well who made the trip much more enjoyable as well!
Toby was a great guide. Beautiful locations and so much knowledge shared! We learned about the wildlife and geology and got some great photos too.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re really happy to hear you had such a great experience with Toby. He’ll be delighted to know you enjoyed the beautiful locations, learned more about the wildlife and geology, and were able to capture some great photos along the way. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you again for another adventure in the Rockies!
Seeing stars is totally upto the weather Gods! Sadly we didn’t get to stargaze because of the overcast sky that day.. but the overall experience of accessing the Moraine Lake way past usual visitor hours and getting to experience the quiet and serene lake sans the crowd and noise… u can only understand the feeling once you have experienced it in person!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re really glad to hear that, even though the stargazing didn’t work out due to the weather, you were still able to enjoy the unique and peaceful experience at Moraine Lake after hours. That quiet, crowd-free atmosphere is truly something special and very different from the daytime visit. We appreciate your thoughtful reflection, and we’re happy it still turned into a memorable experience for you. Hopefully next time the skies will be clear enough to reveal the stars as well! Thank you again for choosing us—we’d love to welcome you back on another adventure in the Rockies 😊
Toby was an amazing guide! Knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining! Despite the weather not cooperating for the stargazing he made sure everyone had a great time, took exceptional pictures and was flexible in trying to get a clearer view of the stars by taking us to different view points on the way back. He was so patient helping my mom navigate down from the rock pile at moraine lake in the dark. Even with the weather it was a wonderful experience thanks to Toby!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that Toby made your tour so memorable despite the weather conditions. It’s wonderful to know he was able to keep the experience enjoyable, take great photos, and adjust the itinerary to help you get the best possible views. We also really appreciate your kind words about his patience and care while assisting your mom at Moraine Lake — that means a lot to us. We’ll be sure to pass your feedback along to Toby. He’ll be very happy to hear it! Thank you again for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the Rockies 😊

We'll be sure to share your kind words with him—he'll be thrilled to know that his care, knowledge, and personable approach made such a positive impact on your experience. It's always our goal to make every guest feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the tour. Thank you for your recommendation. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you back for another adventure with us in the future!
I do not hold the cloudy skies against our tour. Our guide was great and very optimistic. He did his best to make our experience worth our money. The "amenities" that came with our tour were very nice. It was just a little much and a tad long (which may be my jaded/sleepy perspective). I would be hopeful that if the sky was bright with stars it could be closer to the magical experience I was expecting.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your guide's positive attitude and appreciated the effort they put into making the experience worthwhile despite the cloudy skies. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to them. We understand that weather plays a big role in the stargazing experience, and unfortunately it's one thing we can't control. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the tour length, as it helps us continue improving the experience for future guests. Thank you again for joining us, and we hope you'll have the opportunity to visit us again on a clear night to experience the spectacular star-filled skies the Canadian Rockies are known for.
Do not book with this company. The skies were completely cloud covered and they did not reschedule. They called the skies “partially covered.” They would not refund our money. Do not trust them.
Good day, Debora. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. For the benefit of future readers, we would like to clarify a few important details. We offer a flexible 24-hour cancellation policy with a full refund. On the day of your tour, you contacted us less than an hour before departure requesting a full refund because the skies had been cloudy throughout the day, despite the stargazing experience taking place several hours later and weather conditions in the Rockies often changing rapidly. Although your request fell outside our cancellation policy, we gladly offered a complimentary rescheduling to a new date of your choosing. The following day, after the new date had been confirmed, you contacted us again requesting a full refund. During that conversation, you indicated that there would be repercussions and negative reviews if a refund was not issued. Despite the pressure, we remained professional and applied the same policy that is communicated to all guests. We always strive to be fair, accommodating, and consistent. While we understand that weather is unpredictable and that not every experience will meet everyone's expectations, we believe that offering a complimentary date change on such short notice demonstrated our commitment to customer service. We wish you all the best and thank you for considering Into the Wild Tours.
