Fai un giro all'iconico Tren a las Nubes (Treno per le nuvole). Questa esperienza combina percorsi in autobus e treno in cui si può godere dei paesaggi e della cultura andina, beneficiando allo stesso tempo lo sviluppo locale e turistico delle regioni della Quebrada e Puna. Questo tour avrà come attrazione esclusiva il viaggio in treno da San Antonio de los Cobres al famoso viadotto La Polvorilla. Proponiamo un viaggio unico e speciale che unisce i suoi servizi in due sezioni: Strada Nazionale 51 in Bus, con soste fotografiche in punti panoramici, per intraprendere la magica esperienza del Treno per le Nuvole, che si manifesta in tutto il suo splendore quando si arriva all’imponente viadotto ai piedi delle Ande. In alternativa, se preferisci esplorare in modo indipendente, offriamo l'opzione "Solo biglietto ferroviario". Con questa scelta, pagherai solo per il viaggio in treno e il tour inizia alla stazione ferroviaria di San Antonio de los Cobres.

Itinerario
Opzione autobus+treno da Salta: ci incontreremo in Plaza Antofagasta alle 6:15, di fronte alla stazione ferroviaria di Salta. Qui tutti i passeggeri effettueranno il check-in con i biglietti e i passaporti. Una volta che saremo tutti registrati e sistemati all'interno dell'autobus, inizieremo il nostro viaggio.
Opzione autobus + treno da Salta: alle 7.35 avremo la nostra prima fermata fotografica a Campo Quijano, situato a 30 km dalla capitale. Lì inizieremo a vedere il lavoro di ingegneria più emblematico di Salta: il ramo della ferrovia C-14.
Opzione autobus + treno da Salta: torneremo all'autobus e, alle 08.05, faremo la seconda fermata in Viaducto del Toro, situato sulla Quebrada che porta lo stesso nome.
Opzione Bus+Treno da Salta: Continueremo il nostro viaggio e alle 09:25 ci fermeremo a El Alfarcito, una località a 2.800 metri slm, dove si mantiene viva la tradizione dell'artigianato locale. Qui gusteremo una colazione rustica e visiteremo la fiera dell'artigianato. Visiteremo anche la Fondazione Padre Chifri, un'organizzazione che aiuta a ottenere risorse e fornisce istruzione e formazione alla popolazione locale.
Arrivando alle 11:40 a San Antonio de los Cobres, andremo alla stazione ferroviaria e ci imbarcheremo sull'emblematico Treno delle Nuvole, un viaggio che promette panorami accattivanti mentre sale attraverso i magnifici paesaggi andini. Lì incontreremo solo i passeggeri che hanno acquistato il biglietto.
Alle 12 inizieremo il viaggio che tutti stavamo aspettando: il treno che viaggia a 35 km all'ora ti permette di contemplare, fotografare e sperimentare la bellezza della natura, l'immobilità e l'immensità. A bordo vengono offerti servizio bar, servizio postale e merchandising per rendere questo viaggio un piacere e un ricordo indimenticabile.
Intorno alle 13 arriveremo al viadotto di Polvorilla, l'immagine più riconosciuta di questo viaggio. Con strutture in acciaio di 223,5 metri di lunghezza, 1600 tonnellate di peso, un'altezza di 63 metri dal livello del suolo, è la struttura più alta del ramo ferroviario C-14, situata a più di 4200 m.s.n.m. Qui scenderemo dal treno e avremo 30 minuti per visitare il luogo e scattare foto incredibili.
Torneremo sul treno e inizieremo il ritorno a San Antonio de los Cobres, arrivando alla stazione intorno alle 14:45. Qui salutiamo i passeggeri che hanno acquistato solo il biglietto. Avremo 2 ore in cui possiamo visitare la città, sperimentare diverse attività con le comunità native, tra queste, puoi visitare il mercato dell'artigianato, creare un vaso di terracotta con le tue mani o fare un trekking con i lama (opzionale, non incluso ). Inoltre, è il momento ideale per godersi il pranzo (non incluso).
Verso le 16.30 torneremo a bordo dell'autobus e inizieremo il nostro ritorno. Dopo un'ora di auto faremo la nostra ultima fermata nel villaggio di Santa Rosa de Tastil, dove si trova uno dei più grandi siti archeologici del nostro paese, si stima che abbia ospitato circa 3000 persone.
Ritorneremo a Salta intorno alle 20:00.

Be sure to get coca leaves and flavored baking soda or coca candy to help with altitude sickness. It’s real! Personnel on train are marvelous, especially English guide Amelia. She was absolutely wonderful!
7 hours round trip, it was wasted time to see a desolate view from the train. The train in poor condition, the shabby panorama that the trip offers do not justify the 140€ cost per person + the cost to get to San Antonio de Los Cobres, of terrible squalor. A day and money wasted!!!

The price of the excursion is excessive. I have made other excursions with other agencies and they have been better and much more suitable in price. Vitor care was terrible, I had trouble going to the meeting point and was offered a taxi for 30 dollars, which I abused. I went for 8000 Argentine pesos!
The organization of the bus ride to San Antonio de los Cobres as well as the train ride was excellent. We were able to experience an unforgettable adventure by train in the clouds.
Unfortunately we did not go to the tour because the company partner of you, on the contrary, from other tourism companies, offers a service without translating to the station and does not leave clear in the sale of the product that is DIFFICIL to get and, especially, to leave there. We got in touch the night before when we learned, by other tourism companies, that there was a bus that takes people leaving from Salta station and that if we took a taxi, as suggested by Tangol, to go, we would have no way back because there is no kind of transportation besides tourist buses. In this way, we drive to the station minutes before opening to try to board. The attendant, very kindly, informed us that one option would be to have Tangol contacted them or wait to see if there would be a place on the bus: no! We were still offered by the attendant to transfer the tour to tomorrow (Saturday), but on this day we will be returned to Brazil!👍👍👍 A dream not fulfilled by the bad faith of a company! It is unacceptable for a company to act in bad faith, since the tourist does not know the city and its limitations! And, what most annoyed me was to know by 2 other tourism companies that this type of service offered without translation is not offered exactly because of the difficulty of access to the station!

Great experience. It's a very long day. Very helpful staff on the bus and the train. Morning breakfast was very ordinary for the price you pay for the tour, could be improved.
The two girl guides were very friendly, informative and sweet. The ride is full of natural wonders and human achievements. A great way to learn and feel part of Argentina history and of course national pride.
