Incredibly fun, energetic performances with talented dancers and signers. It’s a bit out of the way. And the setting could be a bit more grand. But it was a fantastic time and I completely recommend you put it on your schedule.
Great musicians and dancers!
What a fantastic show! The music was amazing and the dancers were absolutely brilliant. Such a talented performance from start to finish—thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend!
We liked this show a lot. The magical sound of the bagpipes, the three girls dancing the Irish dance, and the three boys moving their legs in impossible ways. We had VIP seats and they left us a bag with gifts. Inside there are restrooms and a bar to order drinks. What I didn't like is that the chairs are very close together (even in the VIP area) and it is uncomfortable.
Great variety show- instrumental music, vocals and traditional dancing. All the performers are top quality. Some even performed in Riverdance. The MC was good and made us feel welcome.
This was an absolutely amazing performance of traditional Irish music and dance. The performers were so talented! The music was captivating and introduced me to instruments I had never heard before. You could tell from their enthusiasm that the musicians loved performing their traditional music for guests from all over the world. The dancers feet moved in ways and at a speed you would not think possible. This is a must see for anyone visiting the Galway area.
Steeply tiered seating means no bad seats. Fantastic 2 hours!! This is a not to be missed experience!
The music, musicians, dancers - all were outstanding! I am so glad to have got an opportunity to see the performance. First time in my life I saw tap dancing and these kids were simply incredible! It just made me wanting to sing and dance with them. The music was so soulful and kind. Love Ireland, Irish music, tap dancing and people. Highly recommend Trad on the Prom.
This was a spectacular show with great performers doing instrumentals on a multitude of different instruments (including an unusual one with an eerie almost human sound), moving vocals by one female and one male (guest) singer, and absolutely fantastic step dancing with three young women and two young men that was as good as it gets. The two hour show was well paced and the host Chris Kelly entertaining and folksy without being in any way corny or smarmy. Not to be missed if you are in Galway. Also the seating the top two thirds of the auditorium is so steeply tiered that there really aren’t any bad seats in the house.
We have a wonderful experience at Trad on the Prom. The musicians and dancers are incredible and the way the producer runs the show and tells stories throughout captives all in our group. They are so warm and welcoming and the time flew by.
