Hout Bay (Afrikaans: Houtbaai, che significa "Wood Bay") è un sobborgo di Cape Town, in Sudafrica, situato in una valle sulla costa atlantica della penisola del Capo, a venti chilometri a sud del Central Business District di Cape Town. Il nome "Hout Bay" può riferirsi alla città, alla baia su cui è situata, o all'intera valle.
Storia di Chapman's Peak Drive. Chapman's Peak prende il nome da John Chapman, il compagno del Capitano di una nave inglese il Consenso. Il picco che incombeva sopra la testa non portava il nome di un governatore o di un valoroso alpinista, ma di un pilota di nave bassa.
È noto per i suoi paesaggi spettacolari. In origine era stato nominato Capo delle Tempeste dall'esploratore portoghese Bartolomeo Dias nel 1488. Fu in seguito ribattezzato, dal re Giovanni II del Portogallo, Capo di Buona Speranza a causa del grande ottimismo generato dall'apertura di una rotta marittima verso l'India e il Est.
Il faro originale fu costruito nel 1859 a Da Gama Peak, la cima di Cape Point, a 238 m sul livello del mare. Ciò ha reso molto inefficace nella nebbia che ha imposto la creazione del secondo faro a 87 metri. Il nuovo faro, costruito nel 1914, è il più potente della costa del Sud Africa.
Una visita alla spiaggia di boulder darà la possibilità di avere un incontro ravvicinato con i nostri pinguini africani.

This was an amazing experience ,I highly recommend this tour to people who enjoy sea life and adventure as well as long walks along the coast.
This whole experience was so amazing ! I definitely recommend for families , couples and solo travellers. You get more than what you pay for and the staff are so lovely and friendly! My children are begging me to come back to Cape Town so that we can do more! We felt so taken care of and it was an extraordinary day spent.
They are just great they make our tour the best. We are planning to visit there with them very soon and this time we are also going to take other services they are providing as we think other services provided by them will also be the best as like this one. Unbelievable, Awesome, and Amazing are just a few words that come to mind about our trip. From the begin during the planning the trip planners were great. They were very informative with tons of information and knowledge. They gave me so much info it was hard for me to choose. They answered all my emails and text promptly with tons of details/info. Our adventure start in Victory Falls staying at the a Lodge. This place was first class, with tons of things to do. A must stay if you are in this area. The falls were the highlight of the trip for me. Massive, breathtaking, powerful, and beauty are words that come to mind. From seeing a pride of lions kill a zebra to tons of wildlife, birds and natural beauty.
