Dopo aver guidato per circa 40 minuti, arrivo a Underground City. Il canyon di Ihlara si trova a 52 km. lontano dalla città sotterranea.Circa 45 minuti dopo, sarai all'ingresso della Valle di Ihlara.La Valle di Ihlara è stata formata dalle azioni vulcaniche del Monte Hasan, vicino alla Valle di Ihlara. In seguito, il fiume Melendiz ha eroso la valle per milioni di anni, inoltre gli strati si sono incrinati e sono crollati. Alla fine fu composto un canyon profondo 80 metri. Tutta la Valle è di 14 km. lunghezza. In passato, generalmente, nelle varie parti della Valle vivevano i cristiani; inoltre scolpirono chiese e le dipinsero. Camminerai per circa 3,5 km. L'escursione durerà 1 ora e 15 minuti. Poi arriverai al ristorante per il pranzo
1 ora per il pranzo nella città di Ihlara. Si inizierà con la zuppa e l'insalata, in seguito si potrà scegliere uno dei piatti principali dalla lista. Il pranzo sarà finito con frutta di stagione.
Il nostro tour proseguirà con un altro luogo da set cinematografico, il Monastero di Selime. A prima vista il monastero sembra un castello, ma ricoveri, chiese, cappelle, camere da letto, magazzini e grande cattedrale ci dimostrano che è un monastero. Salire al monastero di Selime ti esaurirà, probabilmente. Ma fino ad arrivare a Pigeon Valley, avrai circa 1 ora per riposare. Inoltre, la nostra guida parlerà di alcune tradizioni, culture e storie sull'Anatolia lungo la strada. All'arrivo a Pigeon Valley, i piccioni ti incontreranno in cima alla valle. I piccioni sono sempre stati importanti per i cappadoci. Le loro uova e i loro escrementi venivano usati per scopi diversi. Per questo motivo la gente del posto scolpì per loro le case ai pendii della valle. Vedrai il motivo per cui le persone le chiamano "case", quando le vedrai.

AMAZING! Do it!! I did the green tour with my wife on our honeymoon. We booked our Cappadocia trip for the hot air balloons, but this tour honesty is worth coming for alone! We were guided by Merve (marvellous) and our group had around 7 people. The Derinkuyu underground caves were one of the most fascinating places I’ve ever been- with the Selime Monastery an incredibly spiritual place. Also fantastic lunch! Merve was so knowledgeable and educational, and an awesome, fun energy throughout the day. Very grateful and will remember this tour forever!
Wonderful!! This brought our Cappadocia honeymoon to the next level. Merve (marvellous) was so passionate, kind, warm, funny and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and provided in depth insight into the culture, religion and history of Cappadocia. During the underground city tour she facilitated the flow of traffic and organisation within the caves. She infused our experience with many laughs and she went above and beyond with her hospitality. The tour took us to an onyx shop and a Turkish delight shop, both were not listed on the description. Our tour guides explaination was dry and difficult to understand. She also rushed us throughout all the sightseeing spots.
Selena was a great and accommodating guide who gave timely information. Suleiman was a smooth driver who made sure that our A/C is perfect for the weather. The coach was clean and wide! This was a relaxing and informative tour! I’d have skipped the stone/gem and fruit-nut shops though I understand that this helps promote local businesses. It would be nice to warn others to bring flip flops and small towels if they want to dip their feet in the stream at the end of the walk.

Loved how they were able to pick up and drop you back from your accommodation! This green tour took us to some great natural locations such as the Selime monastery, Ihlara valley and pigeon valley. Walking the Ihlara valley was nice. The only two things to note is that the stone spot was a shop to buy jewellery and bring water when it is hot.

Sedat was a really engaging guide and tried to talk to every one, while navigating some really crowded areas. The tour is really good value, you get entrances as well as skip the line and lunch was really nice (though there were a few wasps so beware if you're allergic like me). Remember to pack your own water as there will be stops but if you have no water there is nowhere to buy prior to that. If anything I would have liked more time to walk around Selime but I appreciate that mauly make the tour longer.
Stoneland organized our green tour and ballooning with Butterfly Balloons. Their communication was very good and both experiences were very professional and well organized. The green tour does require a fair amount of hiking and going up and down stairs and narrow passages in the underground city which was well worth it. The history and experience was amazing. Lunch was well organized, professional and tasty. The tour was about 10 hours with a reasonable amount of driving (2.5 hours? which was a good time to rest and learn about the next stop)- the driver was very safe
