Tracy was our fabulous guide on the half day tour of the Tahitian east coast. She took us to some spectacular sights, including waterfalls, beaches, wood carving artists and gave us a taste of the local life we wouldn’t have gotten outside of this tour. Book with Tracy and you’ll be very glad you did.
Highly recommend this small-group half day tour of Tahiti. We visited a beautiful waterfall, black sand beach, local marketplace, and government building; met a local wood carver and saw large eels in a river by his house; and visited a factory where we learned how colorful French Polynesian designs are added to fabric and other goods. Mihi was a friendly and informative local guide and helpfully answered all of our questions about Tahiti and the other islands as we drove around in an air-conditioned van. The tour was perfect!
Tracey was great. Good local knowledge and very accommodating. We were hoping to see the non tourist side of Tahiti and that’s what we got.
This is exactly what we hope to provide on our tours - so glad you enjoyed seeing behind the scenes and meeting the locals with us - the real deal!
We had an amazing west coast tour of Tahiti with Tracey! She was funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Tahitian culture and the local community. It was clear she knew everyone—we loved seeing her stop to chat with locals throughout the day, which made the experience feel authentic and personal rather than just another sightseeing tour. She shared so much insight into the island’s history, traditions, and way of life, and her enthusiasm was infectious. She also gave us fantastic recommendations for the next part of our vacation in Moorea, which we really appreciated. If you’re visiting Tahiti and want more than just the typical tourist experience—if you want to truly connect with the culture—I can’t recommend Tracey highly enough. She made our time on the island unforgettable!
The tour was outstanding! Tracy was charming, funny, and genuinely interested in each guest. She made a real effort to get to know us while also ensuring everyone had a wonderful time. It was a fantastic way to see the local sights and learn so much about the culture and history. I highly recommend this tour!
Delighted that you had such a fantastic time exploring the local sights with us. Tracey embodies exactly what our guides strive for at Unique Tahiti—exceptional, personalized guiding that goes well beyond the surface. Thank you for your recommendation
We had an amazing experience with Unique Tahiti Tour! Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Tahiti’s culture and history. The tour felt very personal and authentic — we visited beautiful spots we would never have discovered on our own. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and relaxed. What we loved most was how the guide shared local stories and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The scenery was breathtaking, and the whole day exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Unique Tahiti to anyone wanting to experience the real beauty of Tahiti beyond the typical tourist spots. Mauruuru! 🌺
Thank you - Tracey had a wonderful time touring with you and was happy to meet you on your return to Tahiti however briefly. What you experienced is exactly what we aim to achieve and what sets UNIQUE TAHITI apart from other island tours . Wishing you a safe journey home
What a great tour. We were lucky to get Tracey as our guide. She let us see and hear a lot of interesting places and stories. Highly recommended.
Tracey had a great time being your guide , we look forward to introducing you to the other wonderful guides working exclusively for UNIQUE TAHITI in the future - thank you for trusting us to share our island home with you in this intimate personalised half day shared tour of Tahiti
Poor tour not worth the money. If it wasn’t for the friendly and informative driver I would give this tour no stars at all. The only decent place we stopped at was the waterfall. The rest was a combination of dull commercial places. Can do better.
The east coast tour includes a diverse number of stops including incredible scenery, historical sites local peoples homes and work places. We do not visit any commercial sites on this tour! The exception being the silk screening factory where the artisans are hand printing tradition dress and dance costumes - the store (as you leave the factory) just part of this exceptional insightful stop. PLEASE DONT HESTITE to provide full details of all the "dull commercial places " you visited so we can verify your review
Great tour with a lot to see and to experience.
A great experience. This was day 2 of our extended trip to French Polynesia and was a very useful introduction to us. Tracey was very knowledgeable and excellent at explaining the culture and history of Tahiti. We saw more amazing scenery but learning about the culture was the highlight.
