Old Orhei è il luogo più pittoresco e storicamente significativo della Moldova. Visita il complesso archeologico di Old Orhei e il Museo della città medievale, dove antiche civiltà, spettacolari scogliere calcaree e vita rurale tradizionale si incontrano. Monastero rupestre scavato nella roccia calcarea Antiche fortificazioni e rovine Il museo locale Scoprite la storia medievale della regione ammirando viste mozzafiato sulla valle del fiume Răut. L’esperienza si conclude con il pranzo a Butuceni (il pranzo è facoltativo e pagato a parte). La tappa finale Cricova Winery (facoltativo) Oltre 120 km di cantine sotterranee L'unica "città sotterranea del vino".

Con grande piacere, ti suggeriamo gentilmente un fine settimana speciale per conoscere, apprezzare e degustare i migliori vini moldavi. Durante questa visita, scoprirai vari sapori di vini e una meravigliosa cucina tradizionale. Oggi visiteremo uno dei siti più pittoreschi della Moldavia: la Riserva Naturale e Culturale "Orheiul Vechi" (Complesso del monastero rupestre) - 55 km da Chisinau. Qui vedrai un monastero rupestre ortodosso chiamato “St. Maria Dormata ”ampliata e modificata all'interno delle scogliere dai monaci nel corso dei secoli e conservata in uno stato funzionale. Dopo l'escursione, pranzeremo con un programma folk presso la pensione di famiglia moldava situata nel villaggio vicino.

Il vasto territorio dell'Antico Orhei è pieno di siti storici e archeologici che è possibile esplorare. I visitatori appassionati di architettura e storia medievale hanno l'opportunità di vedere rovine ed elementi di edifici, luoghi sacri e cittadelle scoperti dopo gli scavi archeologici. Questi siti storici medievali includono la cittadella medievale, i bagni tartari, il monastero della nascita della Vergine Maria, la moschea e il caravanserraglio. A very nice day tour, when you can see all the highlights of the region. We have a very nice and super friendly guide Corina.
It was a good tour - nice to travel outside of Chisinau. The first stop was a monastery complex which was very beautiful. The second stop was the monastery in the cave - there is an uphill walk and then stairs to walk down. Wear comfortable shoes. The landscape is very lovely. We then had lunch in a local place (separate cost) and the cheese pie was delicious. After there was an optional tour of Cricova. Make sure you take a hoodie or jacket as the tunnels are 12 degrees. Natalia our guide and Constantine our driver were great.

A gem of an experience! For some reason, we were in a group of 4 which made the tour super personalized and at a calm pace. The guide shared informative bytes about the history, culture and heritage of Moldova linked to the sites visited. The visit to the cave sanctuary was wonderful. The Cricova winery seemed to be fully booked for a tasting at the last minute, but the tour was still informative. The coordination was managed well by the agency. The lunch was delicious and very local. Card payments were accepted at all destinations. Driving was safe and on time as per the plan.

It’s my first trip to a country that is in Eastern Europe, I was a bit hesitant, but with Marcel and Liliya, everything was great! Although the weather was not perfect, Marcel did his best to ensure we would have a great experience. He got us coffee, took us to a traditional Moldovan restaurant, and he did his best. Note that he is a great multilingual! He knows Russian, Romanian, English, Italian, and even a couple of Arabic words! I would definitely recommend such an experience
