Quando pensiamo alla storia della Spagna, Toledo si trova in una posizione inevitabile. Una delle città delle tre culture alla fine divenne la città natale di Greco; la città della cattedrale gotica più recente d'Europa è unica nel suo genere e merita una visita. Questo è il programma: entreremo nella Cattedrale; San Tomé; Santa María la Blanca e San Juan de los Reyes e, tra questi monumenti, la nostra guida fornirà un tour a piedi della città stessa. Tuttavia, la domanda più grande è: che tipo di visita? Siamo nel 2023; per combattere il turismo di massa, i nostri gruppi hanno solo 10 persone. Potremmo fare qualsiasi cosa, ma il nostro slogan è sempre stato "Adoriamo questo posto". Bene, ci assumiamo il dovere di renderlo sostenibile. Siamo le guide di cui hai bisogno e questo è il tour che la nobile città di Toledo ha bisogno di noi. Faremo un tour a piedi e visiteremo i principali monumenti (compresa la Cattedrale) in piccoli gruppi dove la guida parlerà una sola lingua (anche a noi non piacciono i tour bilingue).

cammineremo da Zocodover Sq. alla Cattedrale godendo di questa strada unica.
Sede del capolavoro di Greco "La sepoltura del Signore di Orgaz" e di un magnifico tempio mudéjar.
Questa era una sinagoga, oggi è una chiesa in stile mudéjar.
Visiteremo questo monastero gotico-elisabettiano (quando diciamo elisabettiano intendiamo la nostra Isabella - Elisabetta - I di Spagna).
Uno dei templi più impressionanti dello stile gotico spagnolo. Trascorreremo circa un'ora all'interno di questo meraviglioso edificio.

Macarena was such an incredible guide. Being from Toledo, Ohio USA, I knew we wanted to do a tour of Toledo, Spain and I did NOT want to do it with a large bug group. Paying for a small group tour was not that much more expensive and 100% worth it! In fact, it ended up being just me and my boyfriend on the tour! We were able to ask questions and she was able to give us excellent suggestions for lunch in Toledo as well as sent us messages re: suggestions in Madrid. Toledo was one of the highlights of our France/Spain trip and much of that was because of our guide. Only one other time I have I fallen in love with a city (Florence), but I think I may now be cheating with Toledo! The tour length was perfect to cover all the major attractions and we received the tourist pass bracelet to get into any other monuments for free. THANK YOU MACARENA!
Our guide Stephi was phenomenal and the history of the city fascinated us. Before we met our guide, we had to make our way to the main Square from the local train station. There are lots of steps and a lot of elevation to cover to get into town. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning so the weather was still cool enough to make the walk. I would not have wanted to do it later in the day when it was warmer. Plenty of taxis available and buses too to avoid the walk.

We throughly enjoyed our tour! First off our guide, Alex, was terrific. Super informative, friendly and allowed for great conversations. He was really on it prior to the tour making sure we got there ok and knew exactly where to meet him! A small group of 5 allowed for a real personal visit to this lovely town! Highly recommend this tour and Alex! Thanks ☺️

Belene gently kept us on- track as she shared her passion for and knowledge of Toledo. Ending in the cloisters, listening to the choir practice, was perfect!

Our tour guide, Belen, gave an excellent historical tour! She was very knowledgeable regarding the history of Spain, with specific Toledo history as well. She did very good job of explaining Toledo’s importance in the history of Spain. She highlighted the beauty of Toledo, paying extra attention to the cathedral and the Jewish quarter. Would highly recommend the tour.
