Esplora la Parigi occupata (1940-1944) e scopri uno dei periodi più bui della storia di Parigi. Durante l'occupazione, i parigini chiamavano avenue Foch avenue des Boches. Qui si trovavano gli uffici della Gestapo. La tua guida ti parlerà dell'arresto di grandi combattenti della resistenza come Pierre Brossolette e delle loro tragiche finali. Vedrai dove visse Carl Heinrich von Stulpnagel. Scoprirai qual è stato il suo coinvolgimento nell'operazione Walkyria e le sue conseguenze. Percorrerai l'Avenue des Champs Elysées. Excellent tour for anyone interested in WW2 history. Guide was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.
This was an amazing tour! Our meeting place was the Porte Dauphine Metro Station. Our guide was an expert in WW2 history. We learned about one of the darkest chapters in Paris history—and followed in the footsteps of French Resistance members as they defied Nazi occupation. The stories are moving, tales of the bravest of brave. We visited landmarks like the Champs-Élysées (the Gestapo offices were located here), the Place de la Concorde (where you can see bullet holes dating from the liberation), and the Arc de Triomphe (one of the most famous monuments in Paris, standing at the western end of the Champs-Élysées). A great day - Paris in the rain (a light rain) didn't stop us from seeing these amazing WW2 sites.
