Tour sotterraneo dell'acquedotto di Fontana di Trevi e di Piazza di Spagnolo

Si tratta di un piccolo e intimo tour a piedi di gruppo di non più di 12 persone. Inizieremo dalla scalinata di Spagna, dove imparerete tutto su di loro e sul perché si chiamano così (rimarrete sorpresi!). Da Piazza di Spagna incontreremo la prima fontana del tour. È qui che inizieremo un viaggio attraverso gli acquedotti di Roma! Infatti questa fontana è alimentata ancora oggi da un antico acquedotto romano costruito nel 19 a.C.! Da qui seguiremo l'acquedotto che è, per la maggior parte, sotterraneo. E passeggiando casualmente per questo itinerario troveremo parti dell’acquedotto che appaiono tra gli edifici moderni. Seguiremo l'acquedotto fino alla sua fine monumentale: la fontana di Trevi. Ma non ci fermeremo qui. Ci allontaniamo dalla folla, giriamo l'angolo e scopriamo il serbatoio sotterraneo d'acqua che gli antichi romani costruirono oltre 2000 anni fa! Durante questo tour a piedi non solo vedrai il sito specifico, ma imparerai anche come è stata costruita la Roma moderna intorno alle antiche rovine.

Interesting tour, not enough time underground. Don't go in summer, too crowded, but overall very good.

The guide was amazing. He knows his subject perfectly and he was very interesting. The only deception was the underground, I was hopping for the Trevi fountain underground, but it's somewhere else. Still very interesting.
The guide was amazing. He know is subject deeply, doesn't have any language difficulty and the tour is very interesting. The only thing that disappointed me is the understand visit. I was expecting seeing the underground of the trevi fountain, but it's not that underground. It still very interesting and worth it. I would do it again!

We had Virginia as our guide, she was good and had lots of knowledge about all the things on the tour. It was a very hot day, so the “mall” part where you get to see some of the Aqueducts behind the housewares dept on the lower level was unexpected but the cold air was nice. She did a great job explaining everything but even she said that our time at the Trevi Fountain was more crowded than she expected so we didn’t spend much time there, although she pointed out some hidden funny aspects like lizards carved into it, so I appreciated that. She said we could come back on our own time to look at it further. Then we went to the main museum of the aqueducts and that was very cool. She had lots of interesting facts to pass along and you can tell she is very passionate about it. This was a good tour and I would recommend it.

While we give you all the information and the stories you need to know about the Trevi fountain, that little extra time you might want to take for pictures and the coin toss ritual is something that is more suitable for when you’re on your own, so that you can do it at your own pace 😊 the tour ends nearby, so you can easily go back to the fountain.
