Quick couple days im Fukuoka and this was the perfect thing to do! We reall enjoyed the tour and highly recommend!
The guide Andy was very open and adapted flexibly to our wishes. He knows the city very well and always got along well with the staff.
It was our first time in Fukuoka. Although we had arrived a day earlier and did some short excursions on our own, it was great to have a short tour of Fukuoka towards the evening. Experiencing the Yatai stalls, izakaya, and just walking around the main attractions was a great learning and fun evening. Andy was a great tour guide and provided us lists of main attractions to visit while in Fukuoka, he was very accommodating. He picked us up from our hotel and we walked around and sampled some of the local eats and drinks. Very easy to talk to and very professional. We want to go back to Fukuoka and will want Andy to show us around again. Grace from Texas
Great experience hidden gems good conversation. Was able to do everything we asked for. Gave my wife and I a unique evening we will always remember
We had an amazing evening with Andy and he's so sweet. Very thoughtfully he brought us to a local Japanese BBQ meat, me and my husband are meat lover and the food was delicious! We felt the dinner fast (but it was 2 hr) because Andy is a funny and sincere person, good chat and sharing life. after dinner he showed us around the downtown area, then we went to all you can drink bar with 50s style design and it was so much fun, without him we couldn't find such nice place by ourselves. He also recommended us some nice places to go in Fukuoka. It was a great evening and totally worthy the expenses!! Highly recommend Andy! Andy is most awesome tour guy ever and we wish him a great life!!
Andy was great,he went above and beyond to make sure everyone was included and having a good time. He spent time to understand what we were looking for a really delivered. The dinner at the street food stalls was fabulous. I would recommend this to everyone.
Radim gave me a fun tour with great insights into Fukuoka and life in Japan.
I did this night tour with two friends and we had a really great time. Andy was a fantastic guide — friendly, patient, and very easy to talk to. One of the highlights was visiting the Yatai stalls and trying different local dishes while enjoying the atmosphere of the city at night. Andy also adjusted the tour based on what we were most interested in, which made it feel very relaxed and personal. Such a fun way to experience Fukuoka at night. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
Andy is awesome- he was flexible with the start time & met us at our hotel lobby which made everything so easy. He showed us different yatais where he ordered for us & interacted with the stall owners and local customers which made the experience feel so unique and an experience we would not have had without him. We ended the evening with a round of drinks and fully enjoyed every moment. He went out of his way to drop us off at another bar before he headed home - and it was an awesome spot. He knew the city well and we loved this whole whole night & will be the highlight of our time in fukuoaka. Thank you Andy!!
The night walk through Fukuoka’s pre-Christmas decorated city centre, accompanied by the reliable, courteous and articulate guide (Andy), was simply magical. Andy inquired in advance, immediately after registration, about my wishes and ideas for the tour, adhered to them perfectly and also adapted flexibly during the tour on request. There were many highlights: the visit to the romantically lit Kushida Shrine and the lively Yatai stalls, the audio-visual demonstration at the Canal City mall (which I would have missed without Andy), the food at the Izakaya and especially the longer exchange with the street musicians on the bridge, which was only possible in this way thanks to Andy's approachable nature and his Japanese language skills. Remarkable: Even after the tour Andy provided me with the promised addresses to Izakayas and sight. In short: 5 highly deserved stars for Fukuoka and Andy! 😉
