Preparati per una giornata lunga ma fantastica!
La nostra prima destinazione per oggi è Budva in Montenegro, prima di arrivarci faremo una sosta vicino a Sveti Stefan, storicamente un villaggio di pescatori su una piccola isola vicino alla costa. Tuttavia, al giorno d'oggi non è più possibile visitare l'isola poiché si è trasformata in un esclusivo resort residenziale. Anche stando sulla costa, Sveti Stefan è uno spettacolo per gli occhi irritati – merita una foto.
Guideremo verso Budva, una popolare destinazione turistica, famosa per le sue spiagge, la splendida natura e gli antichi edifici caratteristici. La città è divisa tra una parte vecchia e una nuova. Da un lato, nella Nuova Budva, ci sono molti edifici moderni, uffici, centri commerciali, ristoranti e bar.
Vecchia Budva, c'è il centro storico e molti luoghi da visitare, come la chiesa di San Ivan, la piccola chiesa di Santa Maria e gli splendori medievali della città vecchia, che visiteremo in questo tour.
La nostra seconda destinazione di oggi è Kotor, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. La città è un labirinto di stradine acciottolate che attraversano il centro storico. L'intento era quello di confondere gli intrusi venuti a saccheggiare il paese, mentre oggi caratterizza la città. Molti dei vecchi edifici e chiese hanno piccole targhe con le date di costruzione e l'uso originale.
Visiteremo la chiesa di San Luca che ha un grande significato per la gente del posto perché rappresenta per loro l'unità.

Su richiesta (almeno 12 ore prima della partenza del tour) possiamo venirvi a prendere gratuitamente alle 7:00 dal vostro hotel a Tirana. Il ritiro da altre città è possibile a un costo aggiuntivo

The trip was advertised as an 8 to 10 hour tour. First, the actual time was 15 hours. Second, it wasn't a "tour". We just had a "driver"..
Montenegro's coastline is stunning and the old towns in both stops are incredible. Our driver and guide, Klodian was perfect for this very long day over bumpy roads. He tended to our needs and wants on this trip. He was very informative but not overwhelming us with too much information. He is an excellent driver and we felt safe with him. We enjoyed his company. Understand that this is a very long, and bumpy road trip as they are working on roadways. But if you want a chance to visit another country without the drive, then this is the way to go.
Klondike is an excellent guide who did not overload us with information. All of our needs were met and he checked our comfort often. He catered the trip to our wishes and is an extremely safe driver! Montenegro's coastline is beautiful. The old cities in both stops are unbeatable. Be prepared for a long ride, road construction as they build a new road. But enjoy Klodi's company for the long day.
Such a fabulous day trip from Tirana. Budva and Kotor are stunning. Endri was an excellent driver and guide, and a genuinely lovely person to spend time with. It was really interesting to chat with Endri about life in Albania and his own experiences. Endri also went out of his way to accommodate my requests. Based on my experience, I’d thoroughly recommend Endri as well as Choose Balkans as a company - they responded quickly and arrived promptly. A lovely lady from Choose Balkans came with Endri to welcome me which was a nice extra detail; I’m not sure if that was just because I was a solo female traveller but it was a very kind gesture.
We recently took a private day trip from Albania to Montenegro , and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. My boyfriend and I loved every moment of it. A huge part of what made the trip so special was our driver and tour guide, Endri. He was incredibly helpful, informative, and professional, while also being friendly and great fun to spend the day with. He shared so much interesting knowledge about both Albania and Montenegro, which really added depth to the experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, he was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves at all times. We would highly recommend this tour company, and especially Endri as a guide. He truly made the day unforgettable!
