È facile capire perché i veneziani chiamarono Zante il ‘Fiore d’Oriente’. Questo tour esclusivo include i villaggi di Lithakia e Kampi, nonché il monastero Anafonitria e una gita in barca alle Grotte Blu. Lungo la strada, si arriva a gustare alcune prelibatezze dolci locali e vino prodotto sull'isola. Visita il belvedere di Bochali per una vista sulla tribuna sul Mar Ionio. Il prossimo è una visita a un frantoio in Lituania per assaggiare il suo olio d'oliva biologico. Poi c'è un dolce tradizionale in offerta a Kampi sulla strada per Anafonitria. Qui visiterete un monastero del XIV secolo famoso per i suoi affreschi. Nel pomeriggio, ci dirigeremo a Skinari, dove, salterai su una barca per le Grotte Blu. Scolpite in bianche scogliere, le stelle dello spettacolo sono le sue acque blu abbaglianti. In alta stagione, c'è anche una sosta per nuotare.

Itinerario
Partirai da Piazza Solomos, il cuore del centro storico di Zante. Ammira gli edifici in stile veneziano prima di dirigerti verso il punto panoramico di Bochali per una vista mozzafiato sul Mar Ionio. Successivamente, avrete un sapore della campagna di Zante. C'è una visita a un frantoio biologico a conduzione familiare e museo. Scopri il processo di pressatura e assaggia parte del loro oro liquido. Il prossimo assaggio è un dolce tradizionale a Kampi, un borgo immerso negli uliveti.

Nel pomeriggio, c'è una sosta per degustazioni di specialità locali - vino, miele e altro - in un negozio del villaggio lungo la strada per Capo Skinari, il punto più settentrionale dell'isola. Qui, salirai su una barca per le Grotte Blu, uno dei punti più profondi del Mediterraneo. Scolpita in bianche scogliere, le sue pareti levigate dal mare riflettono le acque azzurre come uno specchio. In alta stagione, c'è una sosta per nuotare vicino alle grotte.
Poi si passa al monastero Anafonitria del XIV secolo, famoso per i suoi affreschi. Con il suo esterno rustico in pietra e l'ambiente rurale, è un vero e proprio tuffo nel passato.

You get to see a lot of the island in a day. Kay the Tui tour guide was awesome, so much knowledges of the places we saw, yanis the driver did some amazing manuvering of a 60 seater coach through very narrow roads. Finished the day off with the a boat trip to the blue caves with captain Jason and Phillip the crew, great fun, we even took a swim into one of the caves, a must do and excellent value.

Fantastic Zante Tour! The tour lasted a long time; we were picked up at 9am and got back at 5:30pm. We visited an Olive Oil Factory where we rated the local olive oil from organic to garlic and lemon; we got free soap while learning about the process, and how they used the waste for animal feed. We then travelled to an overlook which was breathtaking! The sea was deep blue! We had a piece of local cake and a drink before we moved on to the wine tasting which was fantastic! There was much on offer from sweets to honey to wine! We then stopped at a 14th century monastery which was beautiful; old stones and we saw the St Nicholas’s slippers in the church! We then travelled again to a restaurant for lunch; we had the local food - rabbit and stuffed peppers! We then traveled to harbour where we had a tour of the blue caves and a swim stop! The swim stop could have been longer, there wasn’t enough time and I would recommend going out there again to get the full effect! Apart from that, it was a fantastic tour! You do need to keep in mind it is fast pace tour and not suitable for young children. Fantastic day

We had a lovely day tasting olive oil, red and white wines, diving in paradise blue seas and the tour guide was very friendly with an excellent level of English. However on the day the coach was very packed leading some to become verbally and physical irate towards my Mother and I which left a sour taste for the journey. We enjoyed the wine tasting and bought a few products from each stop made, but were put off by the over amorous groping of one male individual. This is the reasoning for giving 4 and not 5 stars unfortunately, but we must be honest as in this day and age as it’s highly unacceptable.
