Il gruppo entrerà in Duomo, poi salirà per raggiungere prima le terrazze esclusive (153 gradini) e poi la cima stessa della Cupola del Brunelleschi (310 gradini).

Il mio San Giovanni il Bello, come lo chiamava Dante, è una struttura ottagonale di 25,6 metri di diametro, caratterizzata da un prolungamento absidale sul lato ovest. L'esterno è disposto su tre livelli verticali e sormontato da una doppia volta composta da otto segmenti interni e da un tetto prismatico a otto lati. Puoi visitare il Battistero con lo stesso biglietto, esplorandolo al tuo ritmo senza fretta

This was a really cool tour. We had a small group and got to see exclusive views with no wait in lines.
The tour was great. Pick up was easy based on the destination provided in the instructions. Greta was a great tour guide and really kept the information interesting. I enjoyed the museum and all the facts we learned there and appreciated skipping the line to the duomo. Also, I appreciated the tour guide was able to help me find a cover when I came with an outfit that was too short (read the instructions!) Everything inside was beautiful and that was my favorite part of my trip so far despite all of the stairs, the view was beautiful!
The dome is spectacular, the climb is 460 steps, it is worth it. Sandra the guide, spectacular.
Overall the experience was amazing! We had a wonderful guide (I believe her name was Sandra) who was able to talk us through so much of the history of the Duomo. She also was understanding of the limitations of my mom considering she is in her seventies and it was almost 100 degrees. We took the trip up to the duomo at our speed and she sectioned off most of the trip up the spiral stairs into smaller parts to accommodate the entire group. We also did not need to wait in any lines using this company! We were brought through a private section which no one else was using, and was able to enter at a much more exclusive point. One thing that was slightly confusing is the meeting point. Just a heads up, the excursion starts off a smaller street near the duomo, we assumed that the tour would start much closer to the piazza and being that we are not locals, we had to trust that the tour started farther away like our GPS suggested when searching the location on the ticket. But the ticket gets you exclusive access also to the museum, and any other part of the duomo that you would like to enjoy such as the bell tower, underground, and the baptistry. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and modest clothes cause you can get denied access to the cathedral if you are wearing anything showing shoulder, knee, or open shoes.
Great with Mercedes, our guide, we visited the Cathedral museum, the Cathedral and went up to the dome, at all the locations she had fantastic and accurate explanations.

Our tour guide Lorenzo was great and the Duomo tour is certainly a unique one with 483 steps to climb. Very fun and engaging, absolutely beautiful views of Florence and the cathedral. I continue to be impressed with these Viator tours despite being someone who usually doesn’t do tours while on vacation. Very happy and highly recommend.
This was a good tour since we avoided the long lines, I would recommend this tour only if the intention is to climb 463 steps to the roof, otherwise the whole beauty of the cathedral is its outside and there is really nothing much to see inside. The answer to: would you recommend this to your friend is: only if that friend is able to climb the 500 steps in a very narrow space.
