Queste coste del lago di Garda hanno un nome che non è noto a tutti: “La Romantica“. “La Romantica” è il tratto costiero del lago di Garda che si trova tra Sirmione e Desenzano del Garda e deve il suo nome ai panorami perfetti da condividere in coppia, ma è in realtà molto apprezzato anche dalle famiglie in quanto dotato di servizi e spazi verdi. Dopo aver costeggiato la penisola di Sirmione per ammirarne i punti di maggiore interesse tra cui Villa Callas, il centro termale Acquaria, le grotte di Catullo, procederemo verso Desenzano per costeggiare la costa “La Romantica” e vivere una piacevole escursione in barca che affianca le bellezze storiche e culturali di Sirmione a quelle naturalistiche del lago di Garda. Tutte le escursioni vengono effettuate con condizioni meteo favorevoli. L’itinerario potrà subire alcune variazioni in funzione delle condizioni atmosferiche.

Mateo was our boat driver and provided 2 options for our tour. We chose the ride about Sirmione. He stopped and pointed out key sites to us. The boat cruise was a wonderful way to see Sirmione from the water. I highly this trip recommend to everyone.

The lake tour was great and the guide was great “BUT” your directions to meet the boat/tour guide were a disaster (all most missed the tour). There was no parking at the meeting site and it was only accessible by walking a long distance. The was no marker for your tour guide. I can not recommend your company given this poor coordination.

Regarding the directions to reach the starting point of the experience, we tried several methods to contact you without success. Therefore, we sent all the information in detail through the chat provided by Viator. In the message sent, we also included the Google Maps link for easy access to the starting point, which, as specified in the tour description, is located at the port before entering Sirmione. This location is just a short walk from a large parking area, as access to the historic center by car is restricted. We apologize for not being contacted to inquire about the most convenient parking, as we would have been happy to assist you and provide a means of contact. Massimo was our wonderful guide for a tour on beautiful Lake Garda. I took my mother-in-law and she loved the private tour! We asked all the questions and Massimo was very patient and flexible with us. He even let us listen to Mina and Andrea Celetano! We were able to see some beautiful and unique features of the lake (the monestery-turned-private island, Mussolini's dock, the cliffs, the roman ruins, Jamaica beach, etc). On the way back he took us right up against Sirmione Castle and under the old drawbridge back to the dock. Wonderful! The check-in umbrella is very easy to find from the clear directions the company gives. The boat was clean and well-kept, and had the option of a shade overhang if we desired.

If you are looking for a boating experience that teaches you interesting information about the location, I would avoid this “tour”. It wasn’t actually a tour at all. All we did was go out about 2 miles around the lake and go back with music blaring from the speakers. The boat is fairly big, it would probably be more fun with many other people. Also, keep in mind that it was only for an hour. The price was not worth it.

We also have the Sirmione Guided Tour and Motorboat Tour, which is also private but combines a walking guided tour of Sirmione and the sailing at the end.
