Incontrerai la tua guida di fronte ai Musei Vaticani. Entrerai in Vaticano che, pur essendo uno dei paesi più piccoli al mondo, ospita un complesso di musei, il cui valore è difficile da quantificare. Prima di tutto, ammirerai il cortile del Belvedere e della Pigna, quindi apprezzerai la Pinacoteca. Ospita una straordinaria collezione che comprende Giotto, Perugino, Leonardo, Caravaggio, Dalì ... impossibile da descrivere in poche righe! Segui la tua guida alle principali mostre. La guida si concentrerà su originali greci e romani, vari appartamenti del Papa dipinti da maestri come Raffaello. Altrettanto importanti sono le famose gallerie di arazzi, candelabri e mappe.

Siete pregati di notare che la Cappella Sistina, con la sua volta decorata da Michelangelo, i Musei Vaticani e le Stanze di Raffaello rimarranno aperte al pubblico per tutto questo periodo. Tutta la parete del Giudizio Universale sarà però coperta da ponteggi per consentire un complesso e delicato processo di restauro.

The private tour gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the wonders and splendor of the Vatican Musea in a more personal manner. Of course there are a lot of people around but this formula allows for a more relaxed experience. Our guide Massimo was very good with excellent knowledge of the many treasures on display in the magnificent hallways. Also his extensive knowledge about the history in general of the Vatican and the popes brought life to tour. He allowed us a private moment to enjoy the Sistine Chapel which was very nice for a Michelangelo fan such as myself.

Massimo was an excellent tour guide! Massimo’s breadth of knowledge about Vatican City as a whole elevated this tour experience beyond the vast knowledge he knows about the Museums. It is also important to point out that with being a private tour, he was able to curate an experience specifically to exactly what I was wanting to see. If I were to come back and do it all over again I would want Massimo to be my tour guide. Being a solo traveler having a one to one experience through Vatican City allowed me to appreciate a deeper love for the history that was involved. I cannot thank Massimo enough for one of the best experiences of my entire European Trip.
