Itinerario
Dopo un prelievo dall'hotel, la prima tappa sarà presso lo stadio Panathinaikos, culla dei primi Giochi Olimpici moderni, che hanno avuto luogo nel 1896.
Passa dal Parlamento greco nell'ex palazzo reale di Piazza Syntagma e guarda le pittoresche guardie euzoni nelle loro tuniche color ambra. Prosegui verso il maestoso centro convegni Zappion nei Giardini Nazionali della Grecia. Passa davanti al tempio romano di Zeus Olimpio, l'arco di Adriano e la tomba del Milite Ignoto, con altri euzoni di guardia. Passerai poi davanti allo splendido museo Numismatico presso la casa di Schlieman, alla cattedrale cattolica, alla trilogia neoclassica di Atene e infine all'Acropoli (vista anche dell'Aeropago e del teatro di Dioniso), dove potrai visitare i monumentali cancelli in marmo del Propileo, dei templi di Atena Nike e il Partenone. Vedrai la famosa Loggia delle Cariatidi presso il tempio Eretteo.
Prosegui con una breve e piacevole passeggiata passando davanti al teatro di Erodione e Dioniso, per visitare l'audace nuovo Museo dell'Acropoli. Sede di una moltitudine di reperti archeologici dell'Acropoli, le sue attrazioni principali includono reperti votivi, manufatti della vita quotidiana, statue di epoca arcaica, cariatidi e la sala del Partenone con esposizioni dei frontoni, le metope e il fregio.

We had such a great time doing this tour! Our tour guide Sophia was so knowledgeable and really went above and beyond to accommodate my mom who was a little slower since she had a broken toe! It was amazing and I couldn’t have been happier! Having a private guide really gives you a personal experience and you get to enjoy the acropolis way more! I would most definitely recommend!
Demetrius was the best! He was so knowledgeable and shared so much history and knowledge with us. Demetrius and the driver both went out of their way to assist when 2 in the group overdid it and needed assistance getting back to the car.
Anna was fantastic. She assured that she met the needs of every member of our party. She even kept us entertained during the long wait at the Acropolis. Our driver Leo also went the extra mile to satisfy our needs. Highly recommended

Pickup as scheduled. Christine (guide) and Harry (driver) were personable and accommodating, adjusting pace to suit the group. Christine was very knowledgeable and presented information in a relatable, engaging way. Because a private tour, we were able to change out one stop on the itinerary for a drive to the highest point in Athens where we enjoyed a spectacular panoramic view of the City. A memorable experience, well worth the money. Highly recommend.
Our guide, Anna, and driver, Chris, were both wonderful! Having a private tour is well worth the cost. We were picked up and returned to our hotel. One of us has difficulty walking and they made it easy for us to see everything up close and at our pace. Anna’s clear explanations and stories taught us so much. The views were spectacular.
