Itinerario
Successivamente visiterai Wat Ounalom.

Mr Sao is one of the best guide. His knowledge is excellent, went out of the way as well. We wanted to do more temples and he was happy to show us . The driver was also excellent. Kept hydrating us
An enjoyable and interesting day. Seeing the Killing Fields and the Prison was an experience we will never forget and made us appreciate how terrifying that period of Cambodia's history must have been. Our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I would happily recommend this tour.

First city before the big departure to discover the sights of Angkor - To see: the magnificent Royal Palace, Wat Unalom, facing the Tonlé Sap River as well as the Buddhist temple Wat Phnom.
Tuk Tuk driver was very cooperative and made sure to manage for maximum places in allocated time. He made it possible
Tour booked on TripAdvisor with tickets and itinerary confirmation received. Friendly and helpful Guide Sing arrived at hotel on time as agreed and visited Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda as planned. We were then taken on a boat trip and a horrendous “tour” literally on the back of a horse and cart..with no protection in 42c heat getting back to the boat after 30 minutes sunburnt, mosquito bitten and bruised from being dragged around literally on a cart. The only funny thing was all the locals driving past absolutely laughing their heads off as they waved hurtling past ..why wouldn’t they!!. We then got back to Phnom Penh side of river to be told by the guide (note the Mam holidays tour company use government guides)that we wouldn’t be going to Choeung Ek Genocidal centre (Killing Fields memorial) as that was not the tour the guide had been given (confirmed and I saw on his phone). The guide was really helpful but was told he could not take us to Choeung Ek ..I even spoke to them and showed the paid confirmation ticket and itinerary which the guide shared with his company ..still no. During this time tried calling the Mam Holidays support number which just rang and rang. Choeung Ek was the main reason of the Phnom Penh visit and was only a 24 hour visit before going on to Siem Reap same evening. Ended up going back to hotel and making own Emergrncy arrangements to get down to Choeung Ek so didn’t miss the opportunity. Booked 4 tours in Brunei and Vietnam before arriving in Phnom Penh..all brilliant and to plan. Inevitably things sometimes go wrong on trips but just makes you very unhappy when you spend so much time planning so it doesn’t. pictures from happy part of tour.
We booked this tour on online and our experience with MAM Holidays was excellent. Kept us informed all the way. Mr Channy was our guide and he was great. Unfortunately I cannot remember our drivers name but he was also a very nice and friendly gentleman. They arrived at our hotel on time and made sure we get back on-time as we requested as well. The actual tour was very good but the highlights was the killing fields and prison and whilst I say highlight it is also very emotional, but Mr Channy made sure we comfortable and fully informed all the time. We opted not to do a lunch but you can actually skip the Russian Market and National Museum (we did not enjoy them that much) and go for a nice lunch.

Wonderful tour with an amazing tour guide Dara. Although the killing fields and S21 interrogation school is very harrowing to view it is a huge part of Cambodia's history and Dara did not hold back on answering some very personal questions regarding his family's history as well as the history of the country. All of the sites from the Royal Palace through to Wat Phnom were interesting and unique and having Dara as our guide added a greater depth of understanding. As we are not shoppers we skipped the markets and spent more time at other sites plus a great cafe for lunch - Browns Coffee Cafe. We have never had a personal guide for tours before but were pleased we spent the extra for this tour especially been able to have Dara as our guide. Highly recommended.

This tour was a nice way of placing most of the sights in Phnom penn together but I felt my tour guide didn't give us the story behind the s21 prison and left us to see the national museum on our own. We had to hire headsets to get an overview of what we were seeing which cost us an extra 5 each when we should have been told by our guide the history of the artefacts we were seeing. In the S21 prison we even missed a whole floor of important information in relation to the Khmer rouge crimes as we were told there was nothing to see there. As we didn't get the information of the crimes committed and the details we needed to understand the atrocities we ended up spending extra time in the prison to read the boards as the guide was not giving us the information. When probed about simple questions she managed to give us inaccurate information which led us to think she was not knowledgable in the attractions we were seeing. We were told there was not enough time to see the Russian market because we had spent a little longer in S21! A bit overpriced for what it is.

My tour guide Dara was amazing! Thanks Dara! Highly recommended!
