In questo tour privato scoprirai la bellissima campagna della Catalogna in un accattivante tour enologico in cui ti porteremo attraverso i vigneti di Penedes, una regione ampiamente riconosciuta per essere la patria dei più moderni e innovativi coltivatori spagnoli. Esploreremo tre delle più importanti aziende vinicole a conduzione familiare del paese e conosceremo il complesso processo di produzione di vino e cava (champagne catalano). In ogni cantina, un esperto di vini spiegherà i loro singoli processi unici e ci istruirà su come riconoscere le loro diverse varietà e avremo il privilegio di degustare vini e spumanti in ciascuna. Inizia la giornata con il prelievo dal tuo hotel o appartamento a Barcellona e parti in un comodo veicolo per la regione di Penedes, a meno di un'ora da Barcellona. A lungo considerata una delle migliori regioni vinicole del Paese, è anche una delle zone viticole più antiche d'Europa. La regione del Penedes produce vino fin dall'epoca romana e oggi vende più di cento cantine in più di 380 milioni di bottiglie. Per prima cosa, vai in una cantina con vini d'autore su una proprietà di 40 acri di agricoltura biologica dove puoi sentire l'influenza dell'essenza del Mediterraneo. In epoca romana, infatti, era una mutatio (zona di sosta), facente parte della Via Augusta. Dall'inizio del 1300 fino ad oggi è stato nelle mani della stessa famiglia.
Continua il tour e visita la prima azienda vinicola del Penedes che produceva vino ecologico per il mercato danese. Dall'inizio del '900 la stessa famiglia gestisce l'azienda, utilizzando il 100% dei propri campi per la produzione ecologica utilizzando 15 diverse varietà di uva.

We have visited wine regions around the world with many guides. I can tell you that Felciano is the best guide we have ever had and the Penedes wine region cannot be missed. Felciano not only introduced us to three great wineries and some fantastic wines, but he also told us about the history of Catalonia and its people. This private tour was a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful wine region outside of Barcelona while traveling in comfort and conversing effortlessly with our wonderful guide Miguel. Miguel went out of his way to make this experience memorable for us. He was engaging, knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic. Miguel’s passion for Catalan culture added to the enjoyment of the tour. He took every opportunity to customize the trip to our specific needs and interests. As a bonus, he has a photographers eye and often asked if he could take a photo of us with spectacular scenery as a backdrop, leaving us with nice mementos of the day. We learned much about the process and challenges of creating fine organic wine from the three wineries we visited. It was a wonderful day and we highly recommend this tour and tour company!

Very impressed with this tour. Our tour guide was Feliciano and from the second we met up with him he was absolutely phenomenal. He is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the city of Barcelona and the wines all over the region. He gave us a lot of useful information about the area and places to have some good food and drinks. Feliciano was even so sweet he offered to take multiple photos of us for our memory. We ended up taking home 8 bottles of wine and local olive oil and honey. We went to three beautiful wineries out in the Penedes region and we were blown away by the beauty of it all. Our lunch was delicious and my boyfriend who is a picky eater loved it. They gave us plenty of options to choose from for lunch. I would highly recommend this tour because you will not be disappointed.
