Trascorri un giorno in Toscana visitando la città di Siena, il castello di Monteriggioni ed il borgo medievale di San Gimignano. Goditi una passeggiata nel centro storico ricco di storia di Siena poi divertiti a degustare il famoso vino Chianti con un pranzo in cantina di conduzione familiare (degustazione e pranzo non inclusi nel prezzo) per poi ammirare la vista sulla campagna toscana da San Gimignano dove potrai assaggiare il miglior gelato in Italia. Termina il tour con una visita al Piazzale Michelangelo prima di rientrare a Firenze.

Dopo circa un ora di viaggio da Firenze si arriva a Siena. - Visita interna della Basilica di San Domenico, una delle più belle chiese gotiche di Siena, famosa soprattutto perchè è qui conservata la testa-reliquia di Santa Caterina, patrona della città e compatrona d’Italia. - Visita, a piedi, della Piazza del Campo, patrimonio dell’Umanità (Unesco) dal 1995. Piazza del Campo è anche il luogo dove ogni anno, il 2 luglio e il 16 agosto, si svolge il Palio, la più famosa corsa di cavalli al mondo. - Visita dal esterno del Duomo di Siena (Cattedrale metropolitana di Santa Maria Assunta) con possibile visita interna del Duomo (non inclusa nel prezzo). - Passeggiata in centro. Perdersi tra le sue strade è una delle cose più belle che possa capitare. Passeggiare senza meta tra le vie, i vicoli e le piazze del centro storico patrimonio dell’Unesco, seguendo quello che di volta in volta suggerisce l’istinto.
Dopo circa 25 minuti da Siena si arriva a Monteriggioni. Per girare tutta Monteriggioni bastano pochi minuti. Il borgo è piccolo e con poche strade. L’impressione che resta nella memoria, però, dura per sempre. Ci si accorge di aver scoperto un luogo magico, quasi un castello incantato come quelli che si conoscono nelle fiabe, da bambini

Dopo circa 40 minuti da Monteriggioni si arriva a San Gimignano, segue la visita di uno dei più caratteristici e affascinanti borghi medievali toscani: San Gimignano, patrimonio dell’Unesco, è un paese rimasto quasi intatto dalla fine del trecento ad oggi.

Our tour guide was fantastic. He gave us lots of background about the stops. Loved the tour. We were a little disappointed with the winery stop. Only after we finished lunch did the person at the winery tell us the price. And he quoted me 60 € each then the lady came back after I had paid and said it was 70. Had we known that ahead of time we would have gone somewhere else.

This was a highlight of our trip. Florian was so very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He accommodated a custom trip for us to the smaller more charming towns in Tuscany with beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. He made sure to stop and take pictures in front of a town sign with my daughter’s name. We felt very pampered and taken care of and would highly recommend Florian for any trip in the area.

Florian is a wonderful guide. He pointed out different places and gave great background information. The Family owned Wine Cellar, Fattoria Sant’Appiano, was a highlight with delicous lunch and wine tasting in the cellar.
