Per iniziare il tour vedremo il tempio di Angkor Wat e il tramonto lì. Questo enorme tempio fu costruito all'inizio del XII secolo dal re Suryavarman 2. Angkor Wat ha tre livelli con 5 torri principali. Angkor Wat è diventato il simbolo nazionale della Cambogia e si trova anche sulla bandiera della nazione in quanto simboleggia l'anima del paese. Successivamente visiteremo il Tempio Ta Prohm noto come Tempio Tomb Raider con l'albero che copre il tempio. Poi visitiamo Angkor Thom City, Elephant Terrace e il Tempio Bayon fermandoci alla Porta Sud di Angkor Thom City. Infine, vedremo il tramonto sul monte Phnom Bakheng.

Si chiama Tonle Oum. Questa città ha 5 porte come la porta sud, la porta fantasma o la porta dei morti, la porta della vittoria, la porta dei Chhnang o la porta nord e il cancello delle uccisioni. Questa città ha 3 chilometri per lato.
Il monte Bakheng si trova vicino al tempio di Angkor Wat. Si trova a circa 1,5 chilometri a nord-ovest di Angkor Wat. È una montagna di templi indù dedicata a Shiva e fu costruita nel IX secolo dal re Yasovarman I. È il tempio più antico del Parco archeologico di Angkor ed è una delle attrazioni turistiche più popolari della Cambogia. Il tempio è costruito su una collina alta 79 metri e ha cinque santuari in arenaria al livello superiore. I santuari sono disposti secondo uno schema a quinconce, con uno al centro e uno ad ogni angolo del quadrato del livello. Il tempio è inoltre circondato da 108 piccole torri, in gran parte crollate. Phnom Bakheng è un luogo popolare per la visione del tramonto, poiché offre viste panoramiche sul Parco Archeologico di Angkor. È anche un luogo popolare per ammirare l'alba, ma i panorami non sono belli come quelli di Angkor Wat. Se stai visitando il Parco Archeologico di Angkor, ti consiglio di visitare Phnom Bakheng nel tardo pomeriggio per ammirare il tramonto.

I had an incredible experience exploring Angkor Wat with Sun as my private guide. From the moment the tour began, Sun’s warmth, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the temples made the entire day unforgettable. He shared the history, symbolism, and hidden stories of each site in a way that was engaging, clear, and full of passion. Sun also knew all the best viewpoints and photo spots, and he timed the visit perfectly to avoid the biggest crowds. Thom was a wonderful guide, he was welcoming and friendly, spoke English very well and was very knowledgeable on his subject. We really enjoyed the tour, Thom had a very good sense of humour and we had good fun. One of our party of three had some difficulty with mobility, he adapted the tour to suit us all. Our driver we also could not praise highly enough, we were very comfortable. We would highly recommend Thom

Afternoon tour was hot…midday was 95*. A lot of steps & walking/hiking for us in our 70s. Sun was informative & patient.

I did the Angkor Wat temples tour by bicycle. It was fantastic. We started out from the Empress Angkor Wat Resort & Spa, rode to Angkor Wat temple, followed by Ta Prohm (aka Tomb Raider) Temple, followed by Bayon Temple then back to Empress in Siem Reap. All in all, the tour took around 6Hrs including a stop for lunch at a nice local restaurant. Distance wise it was approximately 35km of riding, all easy flat and mostly paved. I am a keen cyclist, and typically seek out bike tours when I visit places, this one was great. Besides the riding, Mr Chuop was an excellent guide. I learned a lot about Khmer history and the temples. Thom from "Travel to Inspire" tours was also great, proactively contacting me days before the tour to confirm bike size and pickup arrangements. I highly recommend this tour!

We took this amazing tour yesterday. Was fantastic, very puntual well organized and caring with details. Water and soft drinks in the car. Cold towels after the visits. Sophi, our guide, is awesome. He speaks Spanish very well. Al the time explaining the sites with high enthusiasm. 5 stars !!
