Itinerario

Wonderful experience. Our guide Youssef and driver Khalil made us very welcome. They made it very easy to visit and understand some if the history of these iconic buildings. They were very accommodating to our interests. The lunch was also very good with some traditional foods. It's a long drive from Alexandria, but well worth it.
The programme was so great starting with guide nermine who has a great knowledge also the car was so comfortable.they were so careful to bring us at cruise time
Operator george was waiting us at Alexandria port. He made sure to guide us to the car and the tour guide. After we had reached Giza, our guide Sameh was so simple in explaining and we love that. The crew made sure to make it at time in port. Thanks for eveyone
Thanks dear for your great words !! Hope to see you soon .
We booked a private tour and were looking forward to this tour, but a couple weeks prior to it, we were told by the tour operator that other guests would be present. The reason was « a lack of guides ». After chatting with the tour operator we understood that It would be a semi-private tour for the same price as the private tour…. Arriving from a cruise in Alexandria the guide was on time and easy to find at the designated location. The tour operator had previously mentioned that the « car would be larger » so we expected at least a minivan (6 passengers) and were a bit surprised to be invited to get in a regular car which had retractable seats in the trunk. Barely enough room for our legs for a 5-hour drive that day from Alexandria to Cairo and back. The guide, described to be an Egyptologist seemed to be very knowledgeable but we expected he would give us a little context about Alexandria, Cairo and the wonderfull history of Egypt during the long car drive. Unfortunately, apart from answering our questions, he was totally silent the whole drive. We felt that although knowledgeable he was somewhat new to the tour and had very few things to say. After arriving in Cairo The tour of the pyramids was also a disappointment. The guide’s English was very difficult to understand. He was passionate about stones and irrigation …but we wanted to learn about the Egyptian dynasties and the history in the making of those wonders. We felt like we were back in college in front of an eminent scholar lacking communication skills needed to teach. At the end of the visit, we waited more than 30 minutes on the side of the road (temperature 106 F) for the driver to pick us up…. Only to learn after questioning the guide that the delay was because the driver was lost in Cairo. We arrived for lunch at what was supposed to be « a high quality restaurant » (which was only a simple buffet). The guide wanted us to pay for the meal although it was included in the tour description. We refused and it was an uncomfortable situation. After that we insisted on going back directly to the cruise ship, not having any energy left for the rest of this adventure. We wanted to see the pyramids once in our lifetime and we did. It would probably have been easier to take a taxi. We do not recommend this tour and we feel we have been taken advantage of by the tour operator.
I deeply apologize for this . That there has been lack of guides and cars . That's why we asked you before if it is okay to make another 2 persons join your tour . Also we have got large minivan but unfortuntaley there has been accidnet in the road and if we waited it , we would have missed our visit to cairo . I have taken an action against this guide and driver . This was the last time to work with us ! And I apologize again for this
This was booked as a private tour. The tour operator messaged in advance, stating they were short of guides and asking if two people could join us. We agreed. The operator stated we would have a van or vehicle that could accommodate the larger group. The vehicle ended up being a small SUV with a very cramped third row, for six people. The drive to Giza is 2.5 hours each way. The guide was very nice, however he did not speak much on the ride to Giza, unless we asked a question. The pyramids were amazing and the meal that was included was decent. The driver had a hard time finding the pickup location at the end of the Sphinx tour, which meant we were waiting in 105 degree heat for a while. It would have been nice to get a little more information and history on the way Giza. Seeing the pyramids and sphinx was a bucket list experience. However, this tour could have provided more comfortable transport and been a bit more informative.
We deeply apologize for this . But the problem is that there has been load on that day that's why we have send to ask you if it is okay or not to make another 2 guests join your tour . We apologize for this and we will do our best to make this experinece much better .
Our private tour from Alexandria to the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx was amazing, thanks to Marwa, our wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience unforgettable with her insights and attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone visiting these iconic sites.
