Our day with Be Special Tours was the absolute highlight of our trip to Austria! Bernhard was our guide for the day, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. He is incredibly knowledgeable about history, and his insights into the WWII sites at Obersalzburg and the various Sound of Music locations brought everything to life in a way we never expected. Beyond his expertise, Bernhard is so personable and kind, making the entire day feel effortless and genuinely fun. He went above and beyond by sharing fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and other must-see spots to visit during the rest of our stay. Peter was a really great guide! We had a short time due to a last minute plan to visit Salzburg for a few hours, and needed to make the most of it. A custom private tour really fit our needs perfectly - we saw the best parts of the sound of music locations, Mozart locations, the fortress, the old city, shops, bridges and more. We did exactly what we wanted, how long we wanted and saved a lot of time. Peter is incredibly knowledgeable about the city, and was able to give us dozens of recommendations.

We had the absolute privilege of spending three unforgettable days with our guide Bernhard from Be Special Tours. From the moment we met him he provided true white glove service thoughtful attentive and committed to making every detail of our experience seamless and special. His deep historical knowledge of Salzburg the surrounding regions and all of Austria brought everything to life in a way we will never forget. Bernhard took us to local restaurants off the beaten path where we enjoyed authentic meals with breathtaking views of the Alps sometimes dining right in the heart of them. He guided us up to the Eagles Nest sharing fascinating stories and insights that turned the day into a 10 /10 experience. Even in small moments his kindness shone through, when I wasn't feeling well from mountain drives he didn't hesitate to stop bring me into a grocery store for something to eat and sit with me until I felt better. This kind of care is rare and so deeply appreciated It made us feel that this is the true heart of Austria. Bernhard is not just a guide and be special tours are not just a tour group, we will always remember the warmth expertise and incredible memories they created for us without a doubt.

Fantastic experience! Traveling w my family: husband and 17and 21 yo daughters. Our tour guide- Peter was an extremely knowledgeable, accommodating. Gave us the most interesting tour of the Zaltsburg and gorgeous lake in the area. He customized everything to our requests . Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! This tour was so good, worth it ! Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and friendly, he knew all the secrets and all the spots! Taught us the history; took us to all the best locations and genuinely seemed interested in teaching us! He drove us in a nice, clean car! Took photos for us and personalized the tour to our tastes! He also showed us some really interesting spots that were super easy to miss but very good to see! He recommended restaurants, spoke multiple languages and really just made us really comfortable. I highly recommend booking this tour and will be booking again!
