Our guide Song was outstanding. I can’t say enough good things about her. Her knowledge was great, I’m a history nerd and she gave me such valuable information about the palace, and what all the monuments represented. In addition to that, she helped us get into our traditional hanbok to prepare for the visit to the palace. The knowledge that she possessed made what could have been an otherwise simple tour, quite extraordinary. She explained about kings of the palace and how each house was built and what it represented as it pertains to the rulers relationship with the universe. We learned about the influence of Confucianism and Buddhism in ancient Korean society. We witnessed the changing of the guard and afterwards she explained about that ceremony. We went to the small traditional village, Namsam tower, she told us about the significance of the four small four pillars and how they were used in ancient Korean society to inform the king’s military about impending invasions, we also had an exquisite lunch at the market. The food was so good and filling. She explained what each dish was. As we went around the market she also explained the significance of each food staple for the Korean diet, and how it’s stored in the winter for times when there is no harvest. We visited the Buddhist temple along with her wonderful explanation of it. It was a full day. Having her as our guide was perfect.

We had an excellent tour led by Joey. We started at the Changdeokogung palace and had many other memorable stops throughout the day, including a Buddhist temple, an amazing market, delicious Korean BBQ lunch, a Korean folklife museum, coffee stop on a scenic highpoint overlooking the city, etc. Joey is very knowledgeable about Seoul and all things Korean. Could not have been a better tour. A great way to spend our first full day in Korea! Our van was very comfortable and the driver did a great job of navigating through traffic, dropping us off and picking us up to minimize unnecessary walking and save time.

We had such a wonderful experience on our private Seoul city tour, and so much of that is thanks to our guide, Jun. From the very start, everything was seamless. Jun reached out the night before to confirm all the details, which immediately gave us confidence that we were in great hands. The next day, he arrived right on time to pick us up from our hotel, and the private van was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a full day of exploring. What really stood out was how personalized the experience felt. We had a few must-see spots on our list, and Jun took the time to talk through additional options with us, helping shape a day that felt tailored specifically to our interests. Throughout the tour, he shared insightful information about each area we visited, along with broader context about Seoul’s culture, history, and daily life. Jun is incredibly knowledgeable, but also very approachable and easy to spend the day with which made the experience even more enjoyable. It never felt rushed or overly scripted; instead, it felt like exploring the city with someone who genuinely loves sharing it with others. We truly had an amazing day discovering Seoul and would highly recommend this tour especially with Jun. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Hera was so very lovely. She was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and also suggested some great alternative places to see. We had a mix of modern and historic stops and really enjoyed them all. Would thoroughly recommend a days sightseeing g with Hera. She also navigated the traffic perfectly !

It was an amazing experience. Our Christine guide knows every detail of Korean history and fills your tour with very interesting facts. Besides Christine is always attentive to take the best pictures!

The tour guide Ji Young was a very good guide , knowledgeable , caring and punctual guide . She drove us , my son and I , to all the tourist spots , carefully in the hired car . She was patient , explain well and considerate to me , an elderly tourist . We are delighted with her and the tour she planned for us . Brilliant private tour with my tour guide Harry. Hr knows the city in and out, is super responsive during communications and created a very memorable day in Seoul.
