I highly recommend this private tour. Our guide Mike was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about showing us his home town. His knowledge about the works at the Dali museum gave us a greater appreciation and insight to the artist. Our driver made the ride smooth and comfortable.
Exceptional tour filled with memorable moments -the tour operator was so responsive and provided clear communication.
Alvar and Carmen were great! Timely, informative and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. The Dali museum is amazing!! Thank you!
Both in the preparation of our private excursion (we were 4 Adults) and during the two tours (game of thrones and Dalit tour) Carme and Marc were perfect. Pace, flexibility and the right answers. we had a great time thanks to Marc's informed comments. If you had any hesitation, you can leave it behind and rush home. We really enjoyed both of our sessions.
Hola Olivier! Thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate them. I had so much fun with you, your wife and your friends and I'm glad to see that you experienced the same :) Hope to see you again soon! Marc
I loved this small town completely walkable, extremely safe, go back to the past by narrow streets, Medieval churches, beautiful landscapes, I love history, I went without so many details, so well preserved, very friendly people, exquisite food, would return a thousand times! Accommodation is very cheap 40 euros for a super comfortable 3 star hotel
Four of us took the private tour from Barcelona. It was easy to book, they were timely, and the tour itself was just great. The guide had a great knowledge of the area and history. He provided many interesting and fun insights—Including showing us the sites where Game of Thrones was filmed.! The history of the Jewish ghetto in Girano is one that everyone should see and experience. We went on the the Dali museum. It is as unique as was the artist. All in all, a great day.
Thank you so so much for your kind words! It makes us feel really good when we read reviews like this one and we realize that people enjoys this Girona Experience as much as we do. The province of Girona is near the big city of Barcelona but not many people know about it. Once here, they don't want to leave haha Mountains, medievall villages, volcanos, beautiful Mediterranean coast, history, art, culture, delicious food... It doesn't matter what you like, you can find it in Girona :) All tbe best, Marc
My husband and I had the pleasure of going on this tour with Marc and Carmen in our recent travels to Spain. Firstly, the level of customer service that both Carmen and Marc put into their tours is absolutely evident and incredible! We began our tour when we were picked up in the train station. Marc was absolutely friendly and made she were comfortable and ready to get our tour under way. We went to the Dali Museum which was wonderful. What made the tour even better was the knowledge that Marc was able to share with us regarding all of the different art pieces that we were able to see. It truly made the experience that much more meaningful. We then began our trip back to Girona with a brief stop for a wine tasting and some tapas. This was such a nice touch, and really was a great way to break up the drive. I also loved the wine! It was so delicious and Marc and Carmen's knowledge of the wine, as well as their presence simply made the whole excursion cozy and comfortable. We then went to Girona and really did a Game of Thrones type of tour while in Girona. Before we got the tour underway, Marc and Carmen gave us about an hour to enjoy lunch while in Girona. What I appreciated very much was Marc bringing us to a restaurant, and making sure we were set before he left us to eat and have some drinks. He returned about an hour later, and we went on the Girona Tour. Marc's knowledge of the city he loves is just amazing! The sights we saw were just amazing and inspiring. I enjoyed this city very much, as well as the sets for Game of Thrones. We were dropped off at the train station, after having some cold water (that they made sure was on hand for such hot days in Spain). Marc made sure we knew where we were going and then we departed. I really can't express the level of care and time that went into this tour which truly made it so special! Marc and Carmen are experts in what they do, and I would recommend taking any tour that they have to offer! They are professional, and friendly, and experts in what they do! They also made us feel like we were such important clients! I just really cannot recommend them more highly!
Dear Danielle and Paul, Thank you so much for your beautiful words :) It makes us really happy when we read reviews like this one. We love what we do and we love our city and our region as much as we love making people happy while they are visiting Girona. Each client is important for us, we really want people to experience Girona just like we do. We want you to feel part of the city and always knowing that when you leave Girona, you can always come back and feel part of it because a part of this place really stays in you. We know that traveling sometimes may be stressful, specially when it's your first time somewhere and you want to make sure you are on time to catch the train you need to take, that's why when people is with us we always make sure we are as helpful as possible. We are sure we will see you again in Girona :) All the best, Marc
