Awesome experience. The boat are very nice
This is a well operated and efficient system. We left right on time and returned at exactly an hour. The guide was very nice but nothing exceptional. It was all enjoyable and a great way to experience the lake without the horror of ferries. One negative comment about the advertisement about this trip; I believe it was presented intentionally to be misleading about what you are going to see. You do not see Bellagio and some of farther reaching ports. Read carefully. I would still highly recommend.
After booking this boat tour, we arrived at the meeting point. The trip was delayed by about 15 minutes from our scheduled departure time, but it seemed to be a busy day on the water, so I didn’t think too much of it. Unfortunately, our 60-minute tour ended up only being 45 minutes - I guess they wanted to get back on schedule by short-changing us. Oh, and the best part was after we were about 100 yards out into the water at the outset of the tour, our captain pulled out a waiver form which included a 100-Euro ‘fuel surcharge’ which I would be responsible for before the trip could begin. I don’t know what the Italian term is, but in the USA, we call that ‘bait and switch’.
Folks, the cost of fuel is excluded—it’s stated in the listing, so I don’t know why you’re writing this; if the tour had run short, you should have told the captain.
Terrible experience ruined the most beautiful day we were supposed to have. I was supposed to propose to my girlfriend on the tour and the driver didn’t show up. Ruined all the plans I had for later and the whole trip in total. The employee that I spoke to was nice but said he couldn’t do anything because of his boss.
The boat was 10 minutes late due to traffic while refueling, and you started making a scene; the boat arrived, but you had already left. I’m sorry.
My husband and I had a wonderful time on our wooden boat tour! We had David as our captain and he was amazing. Highly recommend!

The trip was a one hour boat ride around the southern end of Lake Como. Seeing some of the villa like George Clooney's and others. The boat operator was engaging and shared enough info to be worthwhile. The surprise came at the end when he said the cost for gas was not included which was on the fine print in the contract. He said it was 50 euros an hour but we were charged 100 euros for the one hour trip. Seems unreasonable.
Gasoline is not included, it says and my colleague also warned you before the tour
