Jay was amazing and very knowledgeable. He allowed us to engage with the locals respectfully and was kind. The school group (12 total on Jay’s boat) were all thankful for being able to see the communities living on the water.
We had a lovely experience on this tour! Our guide knows a lot about Sabah, the Bajou people and their lifestyles, so we got a very interesting little sneak peek into this truly unique culture. Communication with our guide and organizing overall was really smooth, he made sure we were comfortable and in-the-know throughout the whole day. 10/10 would recommend.
What an amazing tour and the way how to explore the local community and see the real life of those people living on the water. Victor as our tour guide was amazing, he explained us a lot and he was doing his job really well! I would 100% recommend this tour. Despite it was only 1 hour, we have seen 3 villages and were able to watch the local life.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. The tour was interesting, and we really enjoyed the welcome into a locals home and being invited to dance with the children. I personally enjoyed being able to try on a traditional outfit. Would recommend.
Super interesting experience with a very nice and friendly guide who picked us up, gave very good insight into the gipsies life and new people locally. One of the most interesting cultural experiences I have ever had. A definite recommendation!
Myself and my aunt were travelling together and decided to do this private tour. If you are interested and enjoy seeing and learning about culture then this tour is highly recommended. Our guide was Jay, who was very helpful, knowledgeable and caring. We saw a local way of life without bundles of tourists - we were the only ones. Thanks Jay for giving me and my aunt a rare once in a lifetime experience!!
My sister and I enjoyed meeting the people of this community. The resilience and ingenuity of the community was inspiring. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Our guide Jay was enthusiastic and informative. The communication from the company was excellent. We were captivated by the dancing of Dewi. This was an authentic experience that we would encourage others to experience.
