La nostra prima tappa dopo 25 minuti di guida sarà l'unico Lago di Vouliagmeni. È una delle attrazioni naturali più impressionanti di Atene, ma anche del mondo ed è stata classificata tra le 10 migliori attrazioni della Grecia secondo Forbes. Qui gusteremo il nostro tradizionale caffè greco. Fino a quando non arriveremo, guideremo lungo l'idilliaca strada costiera, piena di palme e bellissime spiagge. Il lago è il gioiello nascosto della riviera ateniese. È un sito Natura 2000 e il Ministero della Cultura lo ha dichiarato luogo di speciale bellezza naturale. Sin dai tempi antichi, è noto per le sue proprietà curative ed è l'unico lago curativo dell'Attica. Sarai di fronte a un raro fenomeno geologico che allontana la tranquillità dalla frenetica Atene. Condivideremo con voi i miti del tempo della seconda guerra mondiale e gli studi contemporanei sulla sua biodiversità unica.
Goditi il superbo percorso di Laimos Vouliagmenis dove passeremo davanti all'antico tempio di Apollo Zostiras e ci ritroveremo al promontorio dove avrai l'opportunità di incantevoli foto panoramiche. Chiedi alla tua guida di mostrarti la fantastica chiesa costruita dai bambini dell'orfanotrofio, decorata con conchiglie raccolte dalla vicina spiaggia.
In questa località avrai l'opportunità di fare una breve passeggiata sulla spiaggia, accanto all'antica strada costruita nel IV secolo d.C. Il porto era di grande importanza commerciale e oggi è un'attrazione di singolare bellezza naturale. Se lo desideri, puoi prolungare il tuo percorso qui, sia per un pasto a base di pesce vicino al mare, sia per una breve nuotata sulla spiaggia incontaminata. Posto eccellente per la fotografia. Si percorrerà un tratto dell'antica strada carrozzabile, che un tempo collegava il Comune di Aixonides Alon con il porto del fronte costiero. Questa scoperta è venuta alla luce durante uno scavo a Megalo Kavouri Vouliagmeni. Dalle monete e dalle ceramiche rinvenute nel sito di scavo, risulta che la strada rimase in uso per tutto il IV secolo d.C. Si tratta di una scoperta particolarmente importante che illumina aspetti dell'organizzazione urbana dell'area, nonché dell'attività economica e commerciale dei suoi abitanti.

My wife and I loved our sidecar tour! Our guide, Dimitris, picked us up at our hotel, and toured the Athens Riviera for two hours of fun. The views leaving center city were fantastic as we made the brief ride to the seashore (Athens Riviera). Our stops included a wonderful national park (has observatory views, lighthouse, gardens, concerts, gift shop, etc), a fantastic yacht marina with upscale shopping, a local beach, a stop by the seat of Athens government, then back to center city to our agreed drop off point. Dimitris is safety focused, including helmets and a seat belt in the side car. If you're on the back as I was, there's a hand grab bar. He has additional vehicles for groups larger than two. I highly recommed this fun, out-of-the-box tour. It's beyond the tourist norm. Note, you need to be physically able to get on or in, and hang on for the fun - wear sunscreen, it's just you in the sun and breeze from the ride. Skip the bus and jump on a motorcycle sidecar!

Dimitri was a wonderful tour guide. He took us all around Athens to areas we wouldn't have gone on or own. The weather was beautiful and the drive was gorgeous. We went to the highest spot in Athens for the best views. Then he took us to the Olympic stadium and allowed us to do a quick visit. After putting on helmets, my wife hopped in the sidecar. I hopped on the back seat, held on to the handle and off we went. Would highly recommend this unique tour. You will not be disappointed. Thanks so much!

I'd give this a 10 star rating if I could--it was so much fun! What a hoot, driving around Athens on a motorcycle with a sidecar. I sat in back of the driver (the company owner) and my sister lounged in the sidecar seat. People gaped at us as we drove by them--quite an unusual sight! I texted our driver before the trip to see if he could drop us off at the port (Pireaus) since we were taking a ferry to Aegina (island) that day and he happily obliged. We thoroughly enjoyed this transport and recommend it to everyone traveling to Athens. Unique, fun and very cool!
