Inaugurata nel 2016, questa moderna funivia di concezione svizzera ti porta in un emozionante viaggio di 10 minuti, scivolando in alto sopra la giungla fino alla cima della collina Chandragiri, alta 2.551 metri. La ricompensa in cima è una vista mozzafiato a 180 gradi sull'intera catena himalayana, dalle cime dell'Annapurna fino al Monte Everest in una giornata limpida. Ma la vista è solo l'inizio. Sulla vetta, si può anche visitare il sacro Tempio Bhaleshwor Mahadev, un importante sito di pellegrinaggio. Quando sei pronto a rilassarti, goditi il pranzo (a tue spese) nell'eccellente ristorante in cima alla collina, che offre quella che è facilmente una delle viste culinarie più spettacolari del mondo. Questa è un'esperienza indimenticabile, di livello mondiale, che offre un panorama himalayano senza un giorno di trekking.

Questo è un viaggio davvero incredibile mentre guidi senza fatica fino alla cima della Chandragiri Hill (alt. 2520 m). Il viaggio inizierà mentre viaggi dal tuo hotel con un veicolo privato. La funivia inizia alle 8.00 del mattino e chiude alle 17.00 circa tutti i giorni. Il viaggio verso la cima richiede solo 10 minuti di scenari davvero mozzafiato mentre la tua gondola sale sopra la fitta giungla sottostante. Man mano che sali più in alto, le catene montuose diventano sempre più visibili. Sulla cima della collina di Chandragiri, passeggia e goditi la magnifica vista. Qui troverai il Tempio Bhaleshwor Mahadev, un luogo sacro di pellegrinaggio indù che onora Sati Devi, la prima moglie di Shiva. Goditi un delizioso pranzo in uno dei migliori ristoranti di tutta Kathmandu (i pasti non sono inclusi nel prezzo). Il cibo è eccellente e il panorama è eccezionale. Infine, torna alla tua auto privata con la funivia, viaggiando giù per la montagna prima di fare il breve viaggio di 30 minuti per tornare al tuo hotel.
Uno Shiva infuriato portava il cadavere di Satidevi sulla schiena e camminava per il mondo come un pazzo per un lungo arco di tempo, senza notare il corpo in decomposizione di Satidevi. Bhaleshwor Mahadev apparve nel punto in cui il "Bhala" di Satidevi o la fronte caddero dal suo cadavere, quindi questo tempio chiamò Bhaleshwor Mahadev.

Nice tour with friendly guide and excellent driver. I got car sick and they took a less bumpy but slower route back to make it easier for me. I was also traveling with an autistic child you is non verbal and they were very accommodating to his needs.

Fabulous!!! 5 star experience. Tej was our tour guide & he was very friendly & caring. He was very knowledgeable & took lots of wonderful pics for us. Our driver Veer was very safe & kept us very comfortable. The experience was amazing. It was a bit cloudy - so we couldn’t get the views of the mountains. But it’s certainly well worth the trip. Would definitely recommend

After a first great experience several days ago with Shishir as our guide, we have chosen him again to share this excursion together. And again we have been sooo thankful for what he makes us living and for his knowledge of Nepalese culture, Nepal’s incredible Himalaya mountains and the Wish Temple with its traditions. We will definitely come back for a more longer trekking tour with Shishir.

We are really happy to have made this excursion. We had Shanti as the guide, a lovely person who has taught us a lot about Nepal, Budism and Hinduism. We had foggy weather so we couldn't see himalayas mountains. But we have rung the bell and ask for a wish at the Wish Temple.
