Itinerario
In mattinata partiremo dal porto di Keelung e ci dirigeremo a Taipei, dove visiteremo la Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, un mausoleo dedicato all'ex dittatore che governò Taiwan per decenni e che si trova accanto ai maestosi edifici del Teatro Nazionale e dell'Auditorium Nazionale.
Uno dei punti di riferimento più riconosciuti di Taiwan è l'iconico grattacielo Taipei 101, completato nel 2004 e l'edificio più alto del mondo fino al 2009. Il ponte di osservazione ai piani superiori dell'edificio offre una vista a 360º della città e delle montagne circostanti. Non a caso, Taipei 101 risiede nel quartiere degli affari di Taipei, circondato dagli appartamenti più costosi e lussuosi di Taiwan e dalla più alta concentrazione di centri commerciali del mondo. A prima vista, non crederesti mai che solo 60 anni fa quest'area fosse interamente risaia! In questo tour, ti mostreremo il distretto di Xinyi e ne condivideremo l'atmosfera e la storia.
Ci fermeremo per una pausa pranzo in questo acclamato ristorante xiaolongbao all'interno di Taipei 101.
Dopo aver visitato il modernissimo Taipei 101, cammineremo per dare uno sguardo al passato attraverso una collezione di vecchi edifici ancora in piedi, la cui architettura distinta ricorda i giorni più semplici del passato. Passeggeremo per il 44 South Village, il primissimo villaggio di dipendenti militari di Taipei, per scoprire la storia dei militari cinesi e delle loro famiglie che si rifugiarono a Taiwan alla fine degli anni '40.
Dalla nostra tappa precedente ci dirigeremo al Tempio Longshan, il più antico della città e dove godremo della sua atmosfera unica.
Dopo aver visitato il villaggio militare e, se abbiamo ancora tempo (a seconda della partenza della vostra crociera), ci dirigeremo alla scoperta dello storico quartiere di Dadaocheng, che ha il più alto numero di attività tradizionali a Taipei. Negozi di medicine cinesi, negozi di spezie tradizionali e artigianato riempiono le strade. Qui, visiteremo il Tempio del Dio della Città, il mercato dei tessuti e una famosa casa da tè.
Concluderemo la nostra visita e, infine, torneremo alla nave da crociera nel porto di Keelung.

Andy was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide, showing us all the points of interest we wanted and added a few more. The lunch included was DELICIOUS!! And more than we could eat, even though we tried. He also was a fun photographer, taking many photos of our group.
Samuel was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and accommodating, providing food experiences as well as sightseeing. An awesome day and lots of fun.
Matty was an excellent guide and did a wonderful job showing us all of the top sights in Taipei. His knowledge of history and the culture was exceptional, and he did a great job keeping us moving at our pace.

Excellent excursion we have made from Keelung to Taipei with a Spanish guide. Throughout the day he gave us a lot of information and details about Taiwan, as well as about the cities, their customs and about the places we visited. As part of the tour he took us to eat at a Taiwanese restaurant where we enjoyed excellent food. Highly recommended everything.

With our guide Christian we had an excellent time in Taipei. Due to the private tour, he picked us up directly at the terminal (our luggage was safely stored the whole day in the car) and he showed us a lot of Taipei’s culture spots explaining the history and stories in a fascinating way. We had a great time with him in Taipei. The famous dumpling lunch in the 101 Tower was a delicious highlight (see foto with Christian). Thanks for everything Christian you are without a doubt an excellent guide!!!

We were communicated with well prior to our tour. On our tour day, we were met by Peter. Peter was a great guy and wanted to show us the best of Taipei. On our way into town, a member of our party asked about a special cake made there. He immediately diverted so we could stop at that store and be the first in line to pick up some boxes of these delicious treats! He was more than willing to customize our tour to meet our needs. He took us around the town showing us many interesting features. Our tour ended with a delicious dim sum meal at Taipei 101. His only concern was our happiness. I would highly recommend this tour and Peter for anyone wanting a good day touring in Taipei, Taiwan!
