L'interno, impreziosito da affreschi, stucchi e opere d'arte di pregio, è purtroppo visitabile solo in parte. Il vero gioiello di Villa Melzi è il parco all'inglese, considerato uno dei più belli d'Italia. Un'oasi di pace e bellezza, dove si snodano sentieri tra viali fioriti, statue, grotte e alberi secolari. La vista panoramica sul lago di Como è mozzafiato e rende il parco un luogo ideale per una passeggiata romantica o un momento di relax.
Villa Balbiano, situata sulla sponda occidentale del Lago di Como, nel comune di Ossuccio, è un'incantevole dimora storica risalente al XVIII secolo. La villa sorge su un promontorio che si protende nel lago, offrendo una vista mozzafiato sul panorama circostante. Storia: La villa fu costruita nel 1787 su un preesistente monastero francescano dal cardinale Angelo Maria Durini, che dalla famiglia Giovio aveva ottenuto anche la vicina villa del Balbiano. Il cardinale Durini si dedicò con passione all'ampliamento e all'abbellimento della villa, creando un giardino all'italiana con statue, fontane e viali alberati. Nel corso dei secoli, la villa ha avuto numerosi proprietari, tra cui il conte Guido Monzino, esploratore e alpinista, che la arricchì con opere d'arte e cimeli provenienti dalle sue spedizioni. Architettura: La villa presenta una facciata neoclassica con un portale a bugnato e due campanili, residuo dell'antica chiesa del monastero francescano.

This was absolutely one of the highlights of our time at Lake Como! Davide is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate — a perfect guide. Raised in the area, he has deep roots that gave our tour an authenticity hard to come by from anyone else. His genuine love for the lake was evident in every story he shared. We did the 2-hour tour, and we didn't want it to end. If you're visiting Lake Como, don't skip this. Thank you for such a magical evening!
Super experience for all family
Davide was so easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and made it such an enjoyable trip! He had the perfect itinerary for our time window and shared so much interesting info about the Bellagio & surrounding Lake Como area. Would highly recommend!
Bruce was wonderful, so excited to take us around in his Mastercraft to his favorite spot. Pickup point very close to Punta restaurant was easy and a common place for other boats to pick up, highly recommended. He called our driver to help arrange a pickup when we were dropped off. We had the two hour tour with Davide and it was perfect! We saw all the most beautiful spots on the lake, enjoyed a smooth ride and a good balance of funny stories, informative commentary, and silent moments to enjoy the scenery. Highly recommended.
Davide gave us the perfect Lake Como experience. He had incredible energy and was so FUN. He showed us all of the grand villas while keeping the energy fun and light. Since he grew up here, he also gave us his personal relationship to the each property which was always fascinating. The tour was on a modern jet boat with a canopy. Perfect for 2-6 people. We stopped in the middle of the tour and swam around a bit which was a welcome break to the sun and heat of summer in Bellagio. We just had the best time. Highly recommend touring with Davide!!
Bruce with BWT was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, he made the pickup process incredibly easy and accommodating. Throughout the tour, he showed us all the famous villas, beautiful sights, and hidden gems around Lake Como while sharing great information about the area. One of the highlights was that he arranged for us to stop and enjoy a swim in the lake, which made the experience even more memorable. Bruce was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our family had a fantastic time. We ended up heading up to Lake Como kind of last minute from Milan while we were on our family vacation. Davide happened to have an opening for a one hour boat tour. So glad we found him. Such a nice guy. He grew up in Bellagio so had a really amazing knowledge and personal touch to the tour. Literally couldn’t recommend him more
