I viaggiatori verranno prelevati al loro hotel con un auto oppure da un minivan in base al numero dei passegeri. L'autista accoglierà i viaggiatori alla reception dell'hotel all'ora indicata nella prenotazione. Si raggiungerà Pompei in 2 ore e 15 minuti circa e durante il viaggio potranno ammirare il paesaggio caratterizzato da montagne . Si farà uno stop a metà viaggio di 10 minuti per un break per poter andare al bagno e prendere un caffè con qualche snack. A pompei i viaggiatori potranno visitare l'antica città romana accanto alla moderna Napoli. Pompei , insieme a Ercolano fu sepolta sotto i 4-6 metri ( 13 - 20 piesi) di cenere vulcanica e pomice nell'eruzione del Vesuvio nel 79 d.c. , gli abitanti furono anche sepolti prima che potessero scappare. Il costo del biglietto è incluso nel tour ed è incluso anche una guida locale professionale per gruppi fino a 20 persone.
Per arrivare a Positano da Pompei il viaggio è di circa 1 ora e 15 minuti. Il tragitto per Positano è panoramico uno dei paesaggi più meravigliosi del mondo , ed è una delle attrazioni piu' ambite a livello mondiale. I viaggiatori potranno ammirare il golfo di Napoli nella sua intera bellezza per poi ammirare la costiera amalfitana dove sarà possibile fermarsi davanti al paesaggio di Sorrento. Andrea was a great tour guide, driver. We had a Volvo SUV. Very accommodating. Stopped for pictures and sight seeing. It was a great trip!
Andrea our driver was great. Pompeii is neat to walk around. Positano was a beautiful drive there a great town with great restaurants. Drive back is a little long but there is no changing that.
What a great way to see another interesting and gorgeous part of Italy without packing up and traveling. Our driver, Andrea, was so friendly and helpful. He was more than willing to stop and wait for us on the road or to offer helpful recommendations for lunch in Positano. He also spent quite a bit of time trying to dislodge my son’s AirPod from under a van seat, which we did successfully recover once we got back to the hotel! Pompeii is a very cool tour. Andrea was able to upgrade us to a private tour for no extra charge. And Positano plus the scenery driving there is jaw dropping. Great day!

Andrea was wonderful! The car was very comfortable as we settled in for the drive to Pompeii. He made sure we were always comfortable and offered to stop for food or toilets whenever we needed. He arranged a private guide for us enroute as I’d forgotten to do it in advance. After Pompeii, he took us to Positano, stopping at several lovely viewpoints and telling us about the area. In Positano, he gave us good advice about where to head to find food and drinks since it was a holiday and little would be open. Sure enough, where he directed us had a nice pizza place open right on the beach. He was always kind and with a big smile. This was a wonderful day!

This was a fantastic way to have a day trip from Rome to Pompeii and Positano. Our driver/guide, Andrea, was fantastic!! He was very knowledgeable, sweet, helpful, and attentive. I would highly recommend him and this tour!

It was the highlight of our trip. Andrea was a true gentleman who took very good care of all our needs and was very informative. The private tour of Pompeii was was worth every penny and it was lovely to sample the Amalfi coast and have lunch in Positano. Highly recommend this tour, it was excellent.

I had never been to the Amalfi coast, so I decided to try this day trip instead of just going to Pompeii as originally planned. Andrea was an excellent driver and took us to a few points of interest along the way. The van was comfortable for our large group of 7. I would recommend paying the modest extra fee for the private tour in Pompeii. Our guide was very good... if I were just visiting Pompeii, I would have spent more time than the two hours or so that we had, but we got to see a fair amount. The drive from there to Positano had spectacular views, and we had time for a nice lunch and a bit of strolling and shopping there. Be aware going in that this trip naturally requires a lot of driving time to reach both locations from Rome in a day... if you are like us you will snooze through the three hour return drive at the end of the day. A very nice day overall.
