L'Alsazia ospita ben 51 terroir Grand Cru, dove vengono coltivati solo i quattro vitigni più prestigiosi della regione (Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Grigio e Moscato), ad eccezione del Sylvaner. I nomi di questi terroir sono spesso misteriosi, e i vignaioli saranno felici di spiegarvi il loro significato e la loro unicità. Questi terroir rappresentano l’apice dei vigneti alsaziani, con Grand Cru dislocati lungo tutta la strada del vino alsaziana, sempre su pendii collinari con esposizione ottimale. Durante la vostra visita ai viticoltori, avrete l'opportunità di assaggiare i diversi vitigni delle colline Grand Cru, e talvolta anche lo stesso vitigno di diverse parcelle Grand Cru. I vignaioli vi faranno conoscere i vini che sono il vanto delle loro tenute e delizieranno le vostre papille gustative. Questi vini vantano un’eleganza incomparabile e un’eccezionale ricchezza aromatica, attinta direttamente dal terreno in cui sono piantate le viti.

Già nel 1648, la famiglia Wach iniziò a lavorare nel mondo del vino come bottai. Dal 1780 la produzione vinicola diversifica le attività commerciali. Dal 1888, la professione di viticoltore alsaziano è un'occupazione a tempo pieno. Preoccupati di preservare il patrimonio della nostra regione, ci impegniamo per l'approccio biologico. Ogni Grand Cru - Moenchberg, Wiebelsberg, Kastelberg - viene venduto dopo un minimo di 3 anni di affinamento in bottiglia. Questo permette di armonizzare i diversi elementi del vino. In altre parole, è un processo di raffinazione, come un casaro.
La famiglia Hering produce vino a Barr, la capitale vitivinicola del Basso Reno, dal 1858. I vigneti si trovano nel comune di Barr, nel cuore dei Vosgi. Con una superficie di oltre 10 ettari, le viti sono coltivate nel rispetto dell’ambiente, per il benessere di tutti. Il Kirchberg de Barr è stato uno dei 25 Grands Cru che oggi fanno parte della storia dei vini del terroir alsaziano, insieme ad altri 26 Grands Cru.

Domaine Céline METZ è la nuova generazione e la continuazione di Domaine Hubert METZ. Come undicesima generazione nella storia della tenuta, abbiamo la fortuna di poter coltivare 10 ettari di vigneti, di cui 2 nel Winzenberg Grand Cru (granito), e di poter fare vino in una cantina di famiglia risalente al 1728.

We loved our private tour of three vineyards in Alsace! It was an experience that was both informative, interesting, and wonderfully diverse. A huge thank you to our guide, Jean, who was incredibly generous and extremely attentive to all our needs throughout the day. In addition to having us taste excellent wines, he even took the time to create a beautiful photo montage of our day as a keepsake. Really "wow"! I highly recommend this tour 100%. An unforgettable experience!

What a great day this was! Our driver Jean was very personable, very professional, passionate and very knowledgeable about Alsace wines. Communication was very good before and during the tour. Arranged three very good wineries to visit where the vignerons were very giving of their wines and knowledge. Learnt so much!

Incredible experience! This was an exceptional tour of the region with amazing wine visits and Jean was accommodating with every request. We were picked up right by our hotel. The van was stocked with everything you could want- blankets (February), water, snacks, umbrellas. Jean answered our endless questions with knowledge and passion. He took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable all day. We had three wine tastings that we would not have been able to find on our own and our lunch stop was at a local restaurant which was authentic and delicious. Would book this tour again in a second!
