Questo tour privato è stato progettato per gli ospiti che soggiornano a Roma e desiderano godere di una panoramica della spettacolare Costiera Amalfitana ed esplorare le incredibili rovine di Pompei. Dopo essere stato prelevato dal tuo hotel di Roma in posizione centrale, inizierai il tuo viaggio verso sud verso la regione Campania in Italia con il tuo autista esperto che parla Inglese in un minivan o una berlina privata con aria condizionata.
Il tuo viaggio inizia con un viaggio attraverso lussureggianti terreni agricoli e dolci colline della regione dei Castelli Romani, appena a sud di Roma. Castelli Romani significa letteralmente "Castelli Romani", che probabilmente evoca immagini di palazzi in pietra, monarchi delle fiabe e torri dove Raperonzolo poteva sciogliere i capelli. In questo caso, però, per "Castelli Romani" si intende un insieme di caratteristici borghi collinari attorno al lago Albano e al lago di Nemi. Questa zona è sempre stata associata all'ottimo cibo e alla semplicità della vita. Anticamente, i cittadini di Roma venivano ai Castelli Romani per sfuggire al trambusto e al caldo di Roma. Oggi la zona è conosciuta soprattutto per Castel Gandolfo, residenza estiva del Papa, ma l'intera regione è di grande bellezza naturale con molti luoghi incantevoli da visitare.
Fondato da san Benedetto nel 529, Montecassino è uno dei monasteri più antichi d'Europa e il luogo di nascita dell'ordine benedettino. Nel corso dei secoli l'abbazia ha subito numerosi disastri, dal saccheggio da parte di una varietà di invasori alla distruzione da parte di un terremoto, ed è stata ricostruita numerose volte. Durante la seconda guerra mondiale, l'abbazia di Montecassino fu quasi completamente distrutta durante la famosa battaglia che porta il suo nome. Dopo la guerra, l'abbazia fu accuratamente ricostruita e riconsacrata da papa Paolo VI nel 1964.
Viaggiando per il Golfo di Napoli, riceverete il benvenuto non solo dalle acque scintillanti dell'ampio e grazioso golfo, ma anche dalla meraviglia naturale che domina il paesaggio a est: il Vesuvio. A sud della baia si trova la penisola Sorrentina con la città di Sorrento arroccata alla fine, e poi la stupenda costiera Amalfitana.
Oltrepassando l'imponente figura del Vesuvio, noterete anche che la zona alla base del vulcano è ampiamente abitata. Circa 3.000.000 di persone vivono all'ombra del Vesuvio, rendendola la regione vulcanica più densamente popolata del mondo.
Pompei è un luogo dove il tempo si è fermato dal 79 d.C., quando la catastrofica eruzione del Vesuvio fece piovere tonnellate di cenere e lava sulla città romana. Il disastro monumentale ha perfettamente conservato la città, consentendo ai visitatori moderni di avere uno sguardo unico sulla vita dell'Antica Roma.
La Costiera Amalfitana attira ogni anno milioni di visitatori con la bellezza sbalorditiva delle sue scogliere e del suo mare. Percorreremo un tratto di questa drammatica costa per raggiungere Positano.
Nel borgo marinaro di Positano prende vita una cartolina fotografica. Incastonato tra le verdi scogliere, un mosaico di case colorate precipita giù per incontrare la dolce curva della spiaggia e il mare blu scintillante al di là. Godetevi il tempo a vostro piacimento ed esplorate le boutique di design, i negozi e le gallerie d'arte, nonché il vivace lungomare e i caffè sul mare. Nota: Positano può essere sostituita con Sorrento, se lo si desidera. Parla con il fornitore locale prima di partire. Quando sarà il momento, ricongiungiti al tuo autista e rilassati durante il viaggio di ritorno a Roma, dove la tua gita di un giorno si conclude con una consegna al tuo hotel.

Our driver, Ricardo, was a lovely host as we ventured to and from Pompeii, Naples, and around Rome. He provided interesting facts while also making sure we experienced everything we wanted. Nice to visit pompei and positano by private tour from Rome. Friendly driver, helpful and totally relaxed
Matt did a great job navigating and giving us suggestions re where to stop as we had some time on the way to our destination. He was flexible in letting us change from Pompeii to Herculaneum which we really enjoyed and Matt, having never having been there researched it and dropped us off at the front. He was friendly and knowledgeable and then suggested stopping at the limoncello factory in Sorrento when he heard us talking about it. Overall had a great experience!
