Partendo da Funchal attraverso Câmara de Lobos, sulla strada per Ribeira Brava viaggeremo lungo le vecchie strade.
Partiamo dalla costa sud-occidentale e ci fermiamo per un drink, dopodiché continueremo la nostra strada fino all'altopiano a 1500 m di altitudine dove saremo sopra le nuvole.
come sull'aereo :). Qui ci fermeremo per il pranzo e faremo un bagno nelle piscine naturali vulcaniche. Dopo il nostro pranzo guideremo lungo i villaggi della costa settentrionale e le nostre guide mostreranno incredibili scogliere sul mare con una vegetazione lussureggiante, tra cui vedrai alcune delle migliori cascate dell'isola.

Fantastic day exploring the island! Tiago was amazing and we learned a lot. Highly recommend this tour and Tiago as your guide. We swam and did off-roading and visited towns and shopped and ate.
Superb family moment! The 4x4 was great for going on trails and for arriving at the top of the Valley of the Nuns. Thanks also to Miguel for the stops at typical places and all the explanations. Highly recommended.
Great way to see highlights of the island and the many, beautiful and varied landscapes. The off-roading was just the right amount of adventure!
Booking this driving service was well worth the experience. Our driver knew so much about the country and showed us all the main spots, but also introduced us to some hidden gems. The tour was flexible based on our needs, but it allowed us to see all the main spots without having to worry about logistics.
Fantastic day! Miguel was a wonderful guide! He taught us so much about the island and took us to so many beautiful places we would have never been able to get to in a rental car! We had an incredible journey around the island with Big John. He brought us to so many beautiful places with amazing diversity of scenery. Big John is a passionate native of the island and was able to enlighten us on the island history and what it is like to live on Madeira. We stopped at a great coffee cafe spot on the beach and he got us the best table in a restaurant for lunch overlooking the Porto Moniz natural swimming pools and guided us to the best native dishes on the menu. We highly recommend this tour it was really awesome.
Miguel was amazing! He was able to share so much history and fun facts about the island in a wonderful day trip! We feel like we were able to see so much in our very short trip to the island and he made it well worth it! We hope to return in the future and do another tour with him!
Miguel is a terrific host, guide and driver. The day was full of adventure, beautiful sights, knowledge sharing and at a perfect pace. Great value!
In short, everything was great. Pickup was on time, the driver and tour guide were very friendly and competent. The tour was very well planned and informative. Explanations were clear. Lunch was perfectly planned, and there was also time for a walk. In total, 1.5 hours. We saw a lot during the tour around the island. Approximately. 8 hours. Tour guide Miguel, who also speaks German, is highly recommended.
Our driver/guide Joāo / John was a lively, cheerful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic companion. He tweaked his planned itinerary to meet some of our special interests and included important not-to-be-missed sights as well as less well-known places. It is an off-road 4-wheel drive experience so some of the sections were very bumpy and rough - but worth every moment. Note: even though we were in Madeira before the high tourist season, there were a LOT of visitors at some of the main highlights. These places are spectacular and absolutely worth visiting. What makes this trip special, though is that Joāo adds his choice of lesser-known but wonderful places to the tour.
